Jacqueline: As an adult woman--and the vice president of a marketing firm--I shouldn't be waiting by my office window to ogle the mystery man who jogs by every morning at 11:45. Sure, he's a gorgeous, perfect specimen of the human race, but I can't bring myself to hit on a total stranger. However, my best friend-slash-colleague Vince Carson thinks I should do more than talk to the guy. In fact, he's borderline obsessive about "getting me laid." (His words.) But the more time we spend together, the more it's clear: The one I'm falling for is Vince.

Vince: Jackie Butler's got it bad for some pompous, over-pumped A-hole who struts his stuff past her window. That doesn't bother me. I know she deserves nice things. What does bother me is that she friend-zoned me big-time last year, so I can't ask her out myself. But what if I set her up with Mr. Steroids? Then, when he breaks her heart, I can swoop in and save her like the nice guy I am. Everything's going according to plan . . . until we share a ridiculously epic kiss. And suddenly anything is possible.

Laugh out loud funny, yet smoking hot! You can cut the sexual tension with a knife between these two, and once they get on track with admitting their attraction, they connect majorly! A really fun read.

Co-Vice President coworkers and best buddies Jackie Butler and Vince Carson have been each other’s sounding boards through a lot. Now the jig is up as Vince figures out that Jackie is lusting after some hunky jock that runs by her office window at the same time every day and Vince sets out to pull a trick on her. He convinces her to let him coach her into getting back out there and dating again when what he really wants is for her to want him instead!

Jackie is excited when runner guy takes her up on her offer of coffee, and then wants to see her again. She’s having fun and enjoying his attention … only when she’s with him, she finds herself thinking of Vince and comparing the two. When Vince admits he wants her, she doesn’t know what to do. Can they risk their great friendship for something they don’t know will go anywhere?

If you can’t trust yourself, who can you trust?

Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside—the woman who was killed. She’s been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It’s a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she’d broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she’d stopped.

But since then, she’s been forgetting every little thing: where she left the car, if she took her pills, the alarm code, why she ordered a pram when she doesn’t have a baby.

The only thing she can’t forget is that woman, the woman she might have saved, and the terrible nagging guilt.

Or the silent calls she’s receiving, or the feeling that someone’s watching her…

An electrifying delve into guilt, terror and the unknown! Strong characters and a plot that keeps you guessing right up until the end!

Cass Anderson can’t forget that night. A crazy downpour, heading home by herself in the dark, taking the shortcut along a dark desolate road that she knew would infuriate her husband, seeing the woman in a car, being too scared to get out of her car to offer help. She can’t just go on about her life like everyone seems to be doing around her, because she has a secret. No one knows that she was there that night. No one knows that she saw the woman but didn’t stop to help … the woman that turned up dead the next morning.

Now she’s losing her mind. She forgets her keys, forgets she took her pills, gets the alarm code backwards … and those calls. Those unknown, silent calls are driving her crazy. She can’t take this guilt anymore … she can’t handle the feeling that someone is watching her … she can’t tolerate the phone ringing.

She wants to explore her true desires, and he wants to watch…

When a sexy stranger asks Wolf Henrikson to rescue her from a bad date, he never expected to want the woman for himself. But their playful conversation turns into a scorching one-night stand that reveals the shy beauty gets off on the idea of being seen, even if she’s a little scared of it, too. And Wolf loves to watch.

In the wake of discovering her fiancé’s infidelity, florist Olivia Foster never expected to find someone who not only understood her wildest, darkest fantasies, but would bring them to life. As Wolf introduces her to his world at the play club, Blasphemy, Liv finds herself tempted to explore submission and exhibitionism with the hard-bodied Dom even as she’s scared to trust again.

But Wolf is a master of getting what he wants—and he’s got his eyes set on her…

Scintillating! A short and sexy trip back to Club Blasphemy for Master Wolf’s story. Not a lot of substance to the plot in this one because it’s a short novella length, but it has Laura Kaye’s signature heat and temptation and does not disappoint!

Florist Olivia Foster is still trying to pick up the pieces of her life after catching her fiance cheating on her just before their wedding, so she’s resorted to using a matchmaker to try to find the man of her dreams.  Big mistake! She’s on the worst date she could ever imagine when a sexy man at the bar catches her eye. A chance encounter ends with him rescuing her from her louse of a date.

Dominant Wolf Henrikson can’t take his eyes off of the bombshell across the room and when he sees her in distress, he’s happy to come to her rescue. When flirting and conversation turns to sexy awareness of each other and their fantasies, he decides to woo her into his bed. What was supposed to be one night turns into much more when they reveal that they enjoy the same sort of kink and he decides to take her along as his playmate at Blasphemy!

Oh, nope. Nopenopenope. A thousand, million times, nope.

She shoved up out of her chair, and the napkin tumbled from her lap to the floor.

As stunned as she was, she wasn’t sure which happened first—Jerry asking where she was going or Wolf appearing at her side.

“God, Liv. It really is you,” Wolf said. “I worried I’d never see you again.”

Liv blinked, swallowed, and played along as she stared up at that handsome Nordic face, all dark-blond and sharp-jawed good looks. “Wolf. Wow. I can’t believe it’s you.”

He stepped closer. “I see you’re in the middle of something here…”

“Yes, she is,” Jerry said. “If you’ll excuse us.”

Wolf ignored him. “…but after the way we last parted, I promised myself if I ever saw you again, I wasn’t going to let you get away twice.”

Liv was nearly breathless. Was he role-playing or talking about their brief encounter? Either way, her response was the same. “I don’t want you to let me get away.”

She felt out of her element, outside the bounds of propriety, out of control. She had no idea what she was doing here, what she was maybe getting into with this man who was, except for an intense five-minute conversation, a total stranger. She had no idea…except that her head said How could it be worse than my date? And her instincts said Go with Wolf, go with Wolf, go with Wolf. And her body said And climb him while you’re at it.

“Damn, I hoped you’d say that,” Wolf said, green eyes flashing. And then he took her into his arms and kissed her. Right there. In the middle of the bar of a fancy steakhouse. In front of

Jerry, who was babbling in outrage that Liv couldn’t hear.

Because Wolf dominated every other sense. His hard chest crushing her breasts and his big hands cupping her jaw and sliding into her hair. His cool tongue licking across her lips. His shower-clean scent adding to the Prosecco to make her head swim. Liv stood frozen and still for long seconds, not because she didn’t like the kiss, but because she did. Oh, man, she really freaking did.

A rule-following ranger finds himself on the hunt for a killer—and falling for a woman who should be off-limits…

On the hunt for a serial killer, ranger Ryan Spencer can't afford any distraction. But Jana Lassiter, sister to one of the missing women, won't let Ryan investigate Mystic Mesa alone. Even though the seasoned officer has always been by the book, something tells him it wouldn't be so bad to break a few rules for Jana.

When Jana's life is suddenly jeopardized, the lawman is forced to face his darkest fears. He's allowed desire to overshadow duty. Now he has to rein in his emotions to save Jana from becoming the next victim. Because losing this woman he's inexplicably fallen for will destroy this warrior forever.

A good mystery with several ups and downs that make us think it’s one person then second guessing to think it might be a different one. When the truth comes out, we’re along for the ride. I felt like the ending was too abrupt and we should have gotten a little more conclusion after all was sad and done, but overall, it was an attention keeping read!

Ryan Spencer is new to the Ranger Brigade, but he’s jumping in feet first into a missing person’s case with the third woman of a similar age freshly missing. When the latest victim’s sister shows up, he’s instantly drawn to her and allows her to accompany him as he hunts for details.

Jana Lassister will do anything to find her sister. She’s determined to stay on top of getting the police to track her down, and she puts herself out there to ask questions from everyone in her sister’s life before her disappearance. When she finds herself the latest target for the madman, Ryan steps in to keep her safe and the attraction they’ve been feeling towards each other explodes!

Second chances really do exist...
As the founder of a multimillion-dollar international security business, Carson Bad exposes secrets for a living. He knows better than to forge relationships built on them. But for years he did just that with his best friend, and secret lover, Tawny Bishop. She brought a sense of calm and understanding to his life--in and out of the bedroom. Until one fateful night when a knock at the door changed everything.

Tawny is no longer a naive college student. She's a sought-after perfumer living in Paris. She has plenty of resources at her fingertips, and lots of lonely nights to think about the only man she's ever loved--the one she ran away from all those years ago. She needs to move forward with her life, but how can she when Carson still owns her heart?

Maybe showing up in the middle of the night unannounced isn't the best route to unraveling the past and figuring out her future, but Tawny has played it safe for ten long years, and it's only made her long for the man she never should have walked away from. Now she's back in Carson's life, and he's determined not to make the same mistake twice. If only he knew what that mistake was...

This super sexy reunion story will take your breath away! Such a great couple! They are fun, flirty and devastatingly honest. You’ll be invested in their story and hoping against hope that they figure out a way to be together! I adore the Bad brothers!!

Tawny Bishop has been living in Paris enjoying her life as a sought-after perfumer, but she can no longer ignore the part of her that’s missing. There’s one man that has owned her heart since she was little more than a teenager and she just can’t ignore the fact that there will never be another him. She has to confront it head on and see about moving on with her life afterwards!

Carson Bad can’t believe it when she steps back into his life unexpectedly. She was always the one that got away. The light of his heart. The one that he still yearns for after all of these years. Can he really let himself dream that they might still have something between them?

EXCERPT

With her heart in her throat, she lifted her gaze, and lost her breath at the sight of the strikingly handsome man who had once been her lover and best friend standing a few feet away with his brother, Brett. She’d met Brett once when he’d come to visit Carson at college.

Her attention moved swiftly back to Carson, and she was unable to look away. His white dress shirt was rolled up to his elbows, revealing muscular forearms, and tucked into perfectly tailored dark slacks. He was broader now, tall, and sturdy. A big, beautiful man with the classic good looks of a 1950s movie star. He raked a hand through his short hair, laughing at something Brett must have said. His familiar laughter made her knees weak.

Please look over.

No. Don’t. Her heart might explode.

Wait. Yes, look over.

Oh God.

What was she doing? She was a professional, educated woman. She should not be weak-kneed over the sight of a man. But apparently her body didn’t get the memo, because her pulse skyrocketed, and she could barely breathe. She gripped the handle of her suitcase tighter, using it for balance. Carson turned, his chiseled features softened by the hint of a five-o’clock shadow. Their eyes connected, and his brows knitted, his jaw tensed.

Disappointment clutched her. Didn’t he recognize her? Or did he? Was he angry? She should walk away, but she was pinned in place by his riveting gaze.

Forget all those other accidental pregnancy romances you might have read.

Daisy and Carter don't have a one-night stand...because it's thirty minutes in a back room at a wedding reception. And Carter isn't a bad boy baby-daddy...except for the motorcycle, tattoos, and attitude. Daisy doesn't have the typical issues with her pregnancy...if you don't count the morning sickness, food cravings, and occasional horniness. And Carter doesn't hang around all the time, wanting both her and the baby...until he falls in love.

But they definitely don't become a happy family...right away.

Daisy has always been a good girl. She's never done anything wild or spontaneous until she has a little too much to drink at a wedding and has a fling with a sexy stranger. She thought they were careful, but accidents happen. And now she's going to have the baby of a man she barely knows.

Carter is her opposite in every way and completely the wrong man for her. They can still work out a reasonable arrangement regarding the baby. But the more time she spends with him, the less reasonable she feels. And he's acting all possessive and protective, so it gets harder and harder to convince herself that he's just the father of her baby.

She wants him to be so much more.

A quickie turns into forever! I enjoyed the story line, but I had a really hard time liking Daisy. Carter was a good guy right from the start, and I didn’t like the way she was constantly being wishy washy and jerking him around. Quick and easy read!

Daisy is a straight and narrow librarian. She’s always been a good girl and done what was expected of her, but one fun-filled night at a wedding reception, a quickie in a backroom and all of a sudden she’s pregnant by a man she hardly knows!

Carter is a good guy. He might ride a motorcycle, have longer hair and tattoos and look dangerous, but he’s nice, settled and kind-hearted. He’s all in and ready to help and be supportive when he learns they are going to have a baby, but he can only do what Daisy will allow him to do. Can he convince her that he might be different, but he can still be a good dad … and more?

A maiden for the mercenary

Mercenary knight Rhain is living on borrowed time. With a vengeful warlord pursuing him, he has accepted his fate—though first he must get his men to safety.

When he rescues mysterious and deeply scarred Helissent from her attackers, Rhain soon wishes he wasn't marked for death. He can never be the man she deserves—his scandalous lineage alone dictates that—but Rhain can't resist the temptation to show this innocent maiden how beautiful she truly is…

Attention grabbing details intrigue you, and an intricately woven plot carries us away in this tale of unexpected love! The characters believe they each are flawed and undeserving, yet they each see a truer side in the other. I would have liked to see a bit more of the two of them developing their relationship and also would have liked to have seen his family story line have a bit more of a conclusion, but overall, a very nice read!

A traveling mercenary knight, determined to find info about his past … a hunted man destined to pay for his deeds … a kind-hearted man unable to turn away from someone in need. Rhain has a lot of duty sitting on his shoulders right now and he’s not going to back down until he accomplishes what he has set out to do.

Helissent leads a sheltered life of almost non-existence. She’s badly scarred and ignored by those around here … only her luck runs out and she’s all of a sudden the target of some bad men when Rhain steps in to rescue her. He takes her with him to get her to safety, but along the way they find themselves learning about each other in a way neither has told anyone else. Are they destined to be together … or meeting just to lose each other immediately?
