She’ll care for Rosie, if Shep will let her run the inn he bought out from under her family. But will Paige be able to keep her heart out of the deal?

A great return to Crimson, Colorado! A visit to this series is always sweet, heartwarming and yummy. The characters were well developed and easy to like and each had their own back story to bring into the mix of it all to keep our attention throughout. Really enjoyed!

He's the bad bachelor who inspired it all...
Annie Maxwell had her whole life figured out...until her fiancé left her when his career took off. If that wasn't bad enough, every society blog posted pictures of him escorting a woman wearing her engagement ring. To help the women of New York avoid guys like her ex, Annie created the Bad Bachelors app. But try as she might, Annie just can't forget him...

For bank executive Joe Preston, his greatest mistake was leaving the love of his life when she needed him most. Now, all he wants is to make things right—and she won't have him. But when Annie's safety is threatened by a hacker determined to bring down her app, Joe is the only one she can turn to. He'll have to lay himself on the line to prove to Annie that he's a changed man. But will their hard-won bond survive the revelation that Annie is the one pulling the strings behind Bad Bachelors?

The emotional conclusion of the Bad Bachelors series has arrived and it’s amazing! Without question, this is some of Stefanie London’s best work to date. She paved the way for this story with the first two books in the series where we got to know a couple of the guys who got hurt by the app Annie developed … then later paired up with her best friends where she got to hear about the grief it was causing while she tried to rationalize the good in it. Nothing prepared us for the true story behind it though. With this final book, we get to see what drove Annie to the point of unleashing this app on New York, and why she feels she’s helping people. Annie was likable, but also had a bit not to like about her. I felt her pain and frustration and even betrayal, but I felt Joe’s very strongly too. There was redemption needed on both sides, and London managed to bring it in a really powerful way. Really loved this series!

Annie Maxwell was on the cusp of a new chapter with the love of her life when in the blink of an eye it all came crumbling down around her. She could no longer go chase their dreams, and he chose to do it without her. He went on with his life, flaunting a new woman by his side with what she knew was supposed to have been HER ring on the new fiancee’s finger, and Annie got even in the only way she knew how. By creating the Bad Bachelors app to help women learn how to spot a man that was going to leave her heartbroken from a mile away.

Bank executive Joseph Preston is returning home to New York to see if there’s any chance of gaining Annie’s forgiveness. He spent three years in Singapore trying to pretend like he was over her, but he’s finally admitting to himself that he never stopped loving her. He tries to talk to her, but she’s putting up roadblocks … until danger surfaces and she needs computer expertise that only he can give her to find out who’s hacking her app and getting way too close to her personal space!

The Greek’s terms?

She must wear his diamond!

Lysandros Drakakis always gets what he wants, and he’s never stopped wanting beautiful pianist Rio Armstrong! A fake engagement to please his family is the perfect opportunity to uncover why she walked away from their powerful connection…and indulge their still-sizzling desire under the Mediterranean sun. But Rio’s heartbreaking revelation changes the stakes—he’s given her his ring, yet now Lysandros finds himself wanting to give Rio everything…

Secrets abound in the latest from Rachael Thomas! The characters were interesting and the secrets she had kept me reading to see how it would all play out. Interesting and compelling.

Lysandros Drakakis still wonders why the one woman he was beginning to let into his heart walked away from him a couple of months ago. A family upset leads her to be in his company again and he takes the opportunity to try to find out what scared her off. When he sees the opportunity to tie her to his side with a fake engagement, he jumps at the chance, hoping the time will lead him to reconnect with her for good.

Pianist Rio Armstrong was as infatuated with Lysandros as he was with her, but when something happened that scarred her soul, she pushed him away instead of going outside her comfort zone to be open with him about it. Will this time together force her hand and get the truth out into the open?

How exactly has one good deed landed me in the penalty box?

Ice Knights defenseman Zach Blackburn has come down with the flu, and my BFF—his PR manager—begs me to put my nursing degree to use and get him back to health. Of course she would call in a favor for the most hated man in Harbor City.

But when he’s finally on the mend and I’m sneaking out of his place, everything goes sideways. Paparazzi spot me and pictures, plus accusations that I slept with him, fly faster than a hockey puck.

At first, all of Harbor City wants my blood—or to give me a girlie-girl makeover. But then…the team finally wins a game. And now this fickle town wants me with the big jerk twenty-four seven.

Argh. I never slept with him the first time! But no one will listen. Then the grumpy bastard goes and promises to break his no-fan-appearances rule to help raise money for a free health clinic—but only if I’m rink-side at every game. That’s not a deal I can turn down.

But when the team keeps winning, and I realize there’s more to him than his bad reputation, suddenly remembering to keep my real hands off my fake date gets harder and harder to do.

Full of sass, snark and broodiness, Avery Flynn’s latest addition to The Hartigans series is delightful! I went into it expecting sarcasm and giggles, and while receiving those with a smile, I also got a heartfelt redemption of a guy who seemed too wounded to be reachable. Fallon and Zach were a little slice of warmth that kept on giving throughout. Really enjoyed their story!

ER nurse Fallon Hartigan knew she’d regret it when her bestie gets her to agree to go make a house call to hockey bad boy Zach Blackburn’s house, she just didn’t realize quite how much until the damage was done! Now she’s front page news as the bad boys most recent fling who needs a major make-over to be worthy. Puh-leez! She wouldn’t give this guy the time of day, and she’s perfectly happy just the way she is thank you very much!

Ice Knights defenseman Zach Blackburn is hated in Harbor City. His personal demons have a hold of his soul, and he’s having the longest dry spell of his career. If he can’t turn things around and help his team get into the playoffs, they just might throw him out of town. He never expected the snarky nurse to be his lady luck, but he has to admit, things are looking up since she’s been around. Can he convince her to stay by his side … forever?

Tomboy - Teaser 4 AN.jpg

Excerpt:

The blaring ring echoed off the bare walls of the nearly empty mansion as Fallon Hartigan marched down the hallway with murder on her mind.

As soon as she got to the source of that ringing, she was going to give Harbor City what they wanted most and kill the most-hated man in hockey. Sure, she might get arrested, but the metro area would probably throw her a parade. She turned the corner and stopped dead in her tracks outside the open double doors leading to the overpriced defenseman’s bedroom.

The man—who’d been puking his guts up less than twenty-four hours ago—was in the middle of a king-size bed, wearing nothing but a smirk and a bed sheet that was draped so low across his hips that she could see miles of those V lines south of his hard abs. Like she was a newbie nurse on her first set of rounds, her breath caught, and a blush she most definitely did not want to appear started to burn her cheeks. Damn her pasty Irish skin.

Still, she had to admit, if only to herself, that the view was fucking amazing. The man was a professional athlete and had the muscular, inked-up chest to prove it. Practically against her will, her gaze traveled over the plentiful ink across his pecs and lingered a few breaths too long on his silver nipple rings.

Seemingly indifferent to her perusal, Zach swiped his thumb across his cell phone’s screen, ending the incessant ringing.

“About time,” he said, his voice a mellow, low rumble. “I’ve been ringing for you for almost ten minutes.”

He dropped his phone on the small table next to the bed and then lounged against the headboard, managing somehow to look down his nose at her even with their current height differential.

Forget killing him, she was going to go after her bestie. It was Lucy’s fault Fallon was even here.

She squeezed her eyes shut and counted to ten as she recalled all the reasons why the man was a menace and not the solution to her three-month-long sexual dry spell.

He was a selfish player.

He was surly to the press, to the fans, and probably to his neighbor’s dog.

He’d banged a puck bunny tattooed with the logo of the Ice Knights’ most hated rival.

She counted to another ten while remembering why she couldn’t off him.

He was Lucy’s client.

He was, for some incomprehensible reason, one of her bestie’s friends.

He had the skills to turn around the Ice Knights’ sofar shitty season if he could remove the giant chip from his shoulder and start playing as if he actually liked hockey again.

Exhaling a deep breath, she reopened her eyes and barely noticed his muscular shoulders this time as she moved away from the door.

There. All better.

She’d managed to pack away the Hartigan attitude, and her temper hadn’t even made an appearance. Bully for her. Now to get back to that cool, clinical demeanor she strove for whenever she was on the clock.

“You rang?” she asked, managing to keep a good 73 percent of her annoyance out of her tone as she walked farther into the room.

About Avery

USA Today bestselling romance author Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.

She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staffs knew her by name.

Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.

Blackballed from my job.

Moved back to my hometown with my tail between my legs and family issues crushing my back.

Slinging drinks in a dive bar.

Yes, the past year has been hell. So when a man who’s temptation wrapped in golden skin and sin offers me one night of no-holds barred, dirty sex, I’m all in. I deserve it.

But now those few unforgettable hours have me facing blackmail from my own father: He'll pay for my mom's medical bills, but only if I never again touch the man who has quickly become my obsession.

Because the man? My obsession?

He’s my stepbrother.

Explosive chemistry, broken souls and glorious redemption! With the next book in the Sweetest Taboo series, we step into the familiar Gordon family’s world. In the first book, we met hardened brother Knox, and the story continues now with Jude’s story. I recommend reading SIN AND INK first even though they are both stand alones just because you’ll get a greater appreciation of the family nuances if you do. Jude and Cypress were a great second book and I enjoyed their story a lot!

Cypress Winters has had just about as much of “life” as she can take. She lost the high paying job that she had worked hard for just for having the nerve to stand up for herself, her mom is sick and running up hospital bills left and right, and now she finds herself serving drinks to grabby jerks in a dive bar just to survive the best she can. She needs an outlet for this frustration or she’s going to explode!

Jude Gordon has a bit of his own pent up energy to burn, and when he sets eyes on Cypress, he can’t leave until he makes her his. One night of fun, that’s what they agree to. Only there’s just one little thing that neither of them realized … they are step-siblings and their parents are going to flip out!

I’m the guy you call when you need to impress your overbearing family, your boss, or your ex. Yeah, I’m a male escort, but not just any escort, I’m the escort. The one with a mile-long waiting list and a pristine reputation that’s very well-deserved.

I’m the guy who’ll make you feel beautiful, desired, and worshipped . . . all for a steep price. I’m hired to make you shine, and I always deliver.

I’ll be whatever you want me to be for one night—except my true self. This is just a job, a role I play to earn a paycheck.

But I’m not the guy who falls for a client. Not once in six years.

And then I meet Elle. Her friend has hired me to escort her to a wedding, but Elle doesn’t know we’re just pretending.

There’s a fire between us I never expected. A connection I haven’t felt in so long. One kiss, and I’m losing all control.

But what will happen when she finds out who I really am?

Unexpectedly sweet! I wasn’t sure what to expect with this type of a hero, but Nic was a fun guy to watch bare his soul. It wasn’t my favorite book by this author, but it had a brokenness to it that made the redemption all the sweeter.

Elle Alexander innocently goes into a blind date to her brother’s wedding expecting it to be awkward. Aren’t they always? Only she doesn’t expect the gorgeous, dazzling man who is easy to chat with and who spends the night making her laugh, dance and enjoy herself. She’s hooked!

For six years Nic Evans has done the job he’s been paid handsomely for. Show up, woo the lady and make his date’s every dream come true for the night. Elle’s friend paid him to make sure she enjoyed herself … mission accomplished. He just didn’t expect to be whisked into an emotional upheaval along the way. She’s amazing. She makes him feel things he never expected and he’s floored by her. He’s been hit hard, but what will happen when she finds out who … and what … he is?

Convincing this take-charge alpha to let her take care of him too? That’s not going to be as easy.

Fast paced and delicious! With the next book in her Boys of the Big Easy series, Erin Nicholas brings us sexy firefighter Caleb and newly minted nurse Lexi’s story. If you’ve been following the series, you’ll quickly recognize them from the single parents support group. They’ve been dancing around each other for awhile now, and it’s time to get serious and admit their feelings once and for all. The characters are awesome and the story line moves forward easily. I missed the support group forum, and I wanted to see some hands on firefighter/nurse drama, but it was a really great story none-the-less. Looking forward to the next in the series!!

Firefighter Caleb Moureu has been raising his orphaned niece to the best of his ability for a couple of years now, and he’s grown to depend heavily on his partner in crime Lexi. They trade off this harsh world of single parenthood as much as possible to pick up the dropped balls and plug the leaky holes in life with each others help, and he thinks they are doing a mighty fine job of it if he does say so himself!

ER nurse Lexi Scott never imagined she’d be managing motherhood and a hectic career on her own, but with Caleb’s help, she’s making it all work. She adores his niece and he loves her son, and together they’re a happy quasi family … until the night a drunk confession brings out the hidden lust she’s been feeling for him along with the info that she and her son are sort of homeless … then watch out, over-protective Caleb is on the loose!

NaE - Teaser 1 AN.jpg

Excerpt:

Lexi could feel Caleb’s breath on her lips, and his bunched muscles under her palm were hot and hard. She stared at his mouth. He stared at hers. And she decided that if he wasn’t going to look at her breasts, looking at her mouth like he was starving and she was a grilled BLT—his favorite food in the world—was just fine with her.

Being compared, even in her own head, to a grilled BLT might not seem sexy, but in her mind, it so was. Caleb devoured those sandwiches. He’d do almost anything for one. He made sexy moaning sounds when he first tasted them. And he’d proclaimed that hers were the best he’d ever tasted. Yeah, put that way, along with the schnapps still coating her brain, it was strangely sexy.

“Caleb.”

She watched his pupils dilate and his jaw clench.

Her hand went to the front of his shirt and she bunched it in her fists, watching his eyes. He didn’t try to stop her. Then she tugged, urging him forward.

And he came, the hand next to her hip pressing into the mattress as she tipped her head to one side. Their lips touched. Softly. Briefly. But she felt it all the way to her bones. Heat, want, relief. She suddenly had to have more. She made a little almost-a-sob sound and licked her tongue along his lower lip.

“Lex.”

Her name was more of a groan than a word. It was the sexiest thing she’d ever heard.

“Caleb,”she breathed.

Then the next groan became the sexiest thing she’d ever heard. It was a combination of hunger and resignation, and she felt like he’d just set her nerve endings on fire.

Suddenly, Caleb’s hand came up to cup the back of her head, his fingers diving into her hair. And he took over.

His mouth opened over hers and his tongue stroked deep and hot. Every glide of his tongue felt as though he was running a finger over her clit. Some were firmer, some softer, some longer, some shorter, and her need ratcheted up with each one.

She ran her hands over his chest to his shoulders and up the sides of his neck, loving the hard muscles and the heat under her palms. Then she slid her hands down his sides to the bottom of his shirt. She slipped her hands underneath, moaning as she met hot, bare skin. He sucked in a quick breath and she smiled against his lips, loving having an effect on him.

And suddenly she was on her back and Caleb was moving over her. Her hands slid to his back, the muscles there bunching as he braced himself above her, still kissing her like it was his job. Instinctively, she slid her legs apart and he settled between them. The comforter was between them, but she felt him hard and hot and deliciously heavy against her. The feel of his cock pressed against her made her ache. She’d done that to him. She’d made him hard.

Hallelujah.

She could be The One

If he’ll let her in.

The rustic mountain town of Golden, Georgia, is the ideal place for crime scene investigator Deke Matthews to heal after a tragedy left him questioning everything. But there’s another reason he’s here, and moonlighting as an adventure guide provides the perfect cover. It doesn’t include falling for his boss. Attorney Grace Harper is back in Golden only long enough to save her family business. Just when Deke has found the woman to share his life with...

Heart-wrenchingly real depiction of family angst! With the next book in her Meet Me At the Altar series, Tara Randel brings us a beaten down heroine who carries the world on her shoulders. The characters are well developed and the story line is full of drama, heartache and the hopeful feeling of love saving all. I felt their relationship could have been developed slightly more once they got together, but the friendship they created along the way as they set out to tame this wild family was a breath of fresh air. Really enjoyed!

Crime scene investigator Deke Matthews is on leave at work and having some down time to himself while trying to put the pieces of his life back together again after a tragedy has left him shaken and doubting himself. When he family reaches out for some backup in a little family drama, it leads him to make a stop and keep himself busy in Golden, Georgia for a little while to see what kind of dirt he can dig up.

Attorney Grace Harper finds herself pulled home from her hectic job in Atlanta when her mother suddenly needs some TLC. In typical family fashion, only she seems to be able to do anything right in their family adventure tour business even though she has siblings “supposedly” helping out. She never expects to become attracted to her temporary hire Deke, but he seems to understand her like nobody else does. Can he convince her to take a chance on him when all is said and done or will her family continue to suck the life out of her?
