Welcome to Grosvenor Ranch, where this rough and rugged cowboy is about to discover everything he’s ever wanted . . . in one cute, curvy, and totally off-limits package.

Beau Black is ready to take the reins of the Grosvenor Black Cattle Ranch. A man of few words and many responsibilities, it’s his job as the eldest son to hold on to the family legacy for his two brothers while raising his four-year-old twins. Alone. Carrying the guilt and grief of his failed relationship with the woman who left him before her death, Beau refuses to let anything—or anyone—distract him from what’s important in life: his family and their land. Even if that means closing his heart to love.

Until his ex’s long-lost younger sister appears in his life . . . and makes his resolve crumble.

Hallie Lockhart is a breath of fresh air in Beau’s dusty world, a reminder that life isn’t just about duty and tradition. When she offers to help his family for the summer, the chemistry between them becomes undeniable. But Hallie is his girls’ aunt, so she’s absolutely off-limits.

As friendship becomes more, can the two fight the passion building between them? Or are they destined to learn that love doesn’t always follow the rules?

This ranching family will quickly steal your heart! The first book in Hope’s Grosvenor Ranch series quickly hooked me as we get to know Beau and his background story. Once we get into the heart of his family and him being a single dad to adorable twin daughters, it only adds more to the warmth of the book. Hallie starts off as a casual meet up, then turns into much more as circumstance keeps bringing them together and secrets unravel. Both characters have drama surrounding them, but both are really sincere and goodhearted people. I found myself loving them together right from the start. I feel like his side hustle is a bit of a distraction from the book and doesn’t really play out in any substantial way that added anything to the storyline. Overall, the characters are well developed, the plot brings great world building of this town and family to life beautifully and the happily ever after was really satisfying while also bringing a hint at the next book forward at the end. Loved them and can’t wait for more in the series!
