Distracted by the bridesmaid

…impossible to resist!

Bridesmaid Ella wants to prove she’s moved on from the grief of the last eighteen months and is ready for a fresh start. So meeting playboy and best man Harry at the wedding party in Malaysia is excitingly refreshing! With an image to redeem, Harry’s solely focused on making the wedding perfect and he needs Ella’s help. But when their best-laid plans are derailed by their unstoppable chemistry, keeping focused becomes almost impossible!

Highly emotional and riveting from start to finish! Michelle Douglas is shining bright with this tale of healing and growth and I could not have loved Ella ad Harry more. Great character depth, both humorous and emotional family drama and a happily ever after sincerely satisfying for all.

Ella and Harry both come into the storyline with expectations of themselves that end up having to be reevaluated and redesigned when life and happenstance knocked their best laid plans for a loop.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a ton of family drama mixed into an emotional love story with humor and life mixed in.

They said one night only…

Until a baby binds them—forever!

Running Johannesburg’s top bridal boutique doesn’t mean Dodi Lewis believes in happily-ever-after. Past experience has shattered that illusion. But a single breathtaking encounter with Jago Le Roux—that Dodi believes in!

After growing up with a volatile father, Jago’s sure a family isn’t for him. Until Dodi tells him she’s pregnant… Suddenly Jago can’t picture a future without his child—or Dodi! That means putting his emotions on the line, something he’s never done before…

A delightfully wicked fling brings more than they bargained for! Complex characters, powerful back stories and a combustible attraction makes the first book in the Scandals of the Le Roux Wedding highly entertaining. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

Jago is attention grabbing and commanding. I can’t wait to see what the series holds in store for his family.

Dodi is a sweetheart who has let happenstance and expectation guide her to a place she isn’t so sure she wants to be anymore.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a whole lot of drama mixed into a steamy fling that leads to forever with a few bumps along the way.

The man responsible for ruining her life…

just made her an offer she can’t refuse.

As heartless and irresistibly attractive as ever, bull-riding champion Drake Alexander says he has his reasons for wanting control of Fleur Barclay’s family ranch. And Fleur is torn by her warring feelings for him—Drake is her ex’s brother and totally off-limits. Yet she gives in to his powers of persuasion…and their sizzling chemistry. But secrets and a devastating betrayal could turn these lovers back into bitter enemies in a heartbeat…

A drama filled kick-off to the Return to Catamount series! This complicated enemies to lovers storyline quickly grabbed my attention and held it throughout. I’m looking forward to what comes next in the series. The characters are intriguing and have a decent backstory to keep us entertained.

Fleur was an easy character to like and sympathize with. She has baggage that she’s trying to pack away in order to push through to a brighter future, but reconnecting with an old enemy is derailing her plans.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romance filled with angst, reconnection and uncovered secrets.

You’ve been his for years, and I respected it. Maintained my distance.

Kept my silence. My secret.

Until that night you came to me, disillusioned, angry and hurt. God helps us both, but I crossed my carefully drawn line before you left, disappeared.

Now, you’re back, and my need for you is a beast that hasn’t been fed and has grown hungrier in the years since I’ve seen you. I remind myself we can’t be more than friends, that you’re off-limits to me. But it doesn’t stop me from secretly craving what can never be mine.

You.

My fantasy. My sin.

My joy. My regret.

My best friend’s woman.

Jessie’s girl.

Fast paced, endearing and oh so sensual! I dare you to read this book and not be humming the old 80’s tune in your head at least once! Unrequited love with a twist that turns hot, hot, hot when opportunity knocks and willpower is thrown out the door.

This book is a quick read and will have your glasses steaming up in no time! I highly enjoyed Asa and India’s story and was rooting for them from start to finish. I think some follow through in the ending to develop their relationship and the fall out from it would have made for a more rounded story, but I loved them regardless.

From pretense to pregnancy…

things just got real!

Scoring an interview with actor Isaac Dunn is a dream come true for podcaster Meghan Squire. But when he asks her to be his pretend girlfriend, she has to pinch herself to see if she’s dreaming! The arrangement is just for a while. Just to keep the press at bay. Easy enough. At least until their attraction proves anything but fake and results in a pregnancy. Suddenly the million-dollar question is if they’re ready to make a real commitment…

Make-believe becomes all too real in the conclusion of The Dunn Brothers duet! I highly recommend you read the first book in the series before reading this one so you will get the full enjoyment of Isaac’s story. The storyline picks up soon after his twin Max’s story MILLION-DOLLAR MIX-UP and is fast paced and enjoyable from start to finish.

Isaac is endearing now that we know the history of he and Max and watching him reconnect and begin to enjoy the family side of life again is heartwarming.

Meghan is fresh and fun and really added a lot to the feel of the story.

I highly recommend this book as well as the other book in the duet to anyone who enjoys family drama mixed in with a highly addictive romance and storyline as a set of twin brothers find their forever.
