To protect her baby…

She must share her secret

A stalker’s lie came between single mother Rachel Colton and the father of her child. Now the man she never forgot has moved to their small Colorado town, and Rachel must tell James Kiriakis about the six-month-old daughter he never knew existed. But in pursuit of James, a deadly criminal has trailed him to Blue Larkspur and won’t let the fragile family have a moment’s peace—planning on only the most lethal of reunions.

I was hooked from the first page! Book four in The Coltons of Colorado series from Harlequin Romantic Suspense brings newly minted DA Rachel Colton to the center of the story line as danger lurks from multiple directions as her fling moves to town and learns he’s a daddy! The characters were both intriguing and had their own side of drama contributing to the suspense and I loved every minute of their story.

Rachel is accomplished and self-assured, but when the man she hasn’t easily forgotten suddenly shows up in her town, she knows she has some explaining to do. I liked her for the most part and enjoyed getting to see the soft mommy side of her.

James is much more than the cut throat lawyer Rachel got a glimpse of and I actually liked him a lot. He was down to earth even when things were stressful all around them and I loved his connection with the precious daughter he didn’t know he had.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a tight family backdrop as a core bit of family intrigue plays out across the series and each sibling centers in a book of their own as love comes knocking and they have to outrun their very own bit of danger.

Service dog Jedi is playing…cupid

As a malnourished rescue dog, I never dreamed Wendy Alvarez would pull me for her Pets for Vets program. Turns out I’m the perfect support animal for ex-vet Greg Martin. Though he insists he’s only my “foster,” I’m gonna chase Greg’s nightmares away and give him the courage to fly his plane again. Plus get him to fall for that nice lady, Wendy. Those loners may be my trainers, but I’m pulling their heartstrings.

Packs an emotional punch! This heartwarming story of a rescue dog and the humans he helps is sure to tug at your heartstrings. The characters each have a back story that fills the dialogue with emotion and seeing them help the other heal and be ready to live again is really rewarding. I loved every minute of their story!

Wendy has trauma from her childhood that she hasn’t let go of yet, but she sets out every day to do good in the world and she accomplishes so much for people.

Greg is goodhearted and down to earth, but life handed him a situation that he hasn’t fully come to terms with yet and meeting Wendy is turning out to be just what he needed.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a whole lot of heart mixed with emotions and turmoil as each couple collides and works toward their happily ever after.

Returning to the palace unwed…
But not untouched!

Princess Marit’s elopement isn’t exactly all she’d dreamed, but at least it is on her terms. That is, until Greek billionaire Lykos Livas steals her away in her wedding gown!

Enlisted by the king, Lykos must return Marit to the palace—unwed. Yet hearing about her duty-bound life painfully recalls the memories of his own hard-won freedom. He offers her a week of rebellion traveling around Europe with him. But as the chemistry between them becomes undeniable, so does the deadline for Marit’s royal return!

A riveting royal romance! The second book in the Royals of Svardia series from Harlequin Presents brings us youngest sister Princess Marit’s story. I was hooked from start to finish as a makeshift elopement is foiled when a tycoon sent by her King whisks her away.

I loved every minute of Marit. She has dreams she’s not allowed to partake in, but she has such loyalty to her family and her country that she doesn’t see it as the hardship that we would. I enjoyed seeing her get to live with a bit of freedom for a bit.

Lykos is hunky and take charge, but he has a tenderness to him that shines bright for Marit as he gets to know her turmoil.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a royal romance within a drama filled family with turmoil, passion and love at the forefront.

“Do you know any women not like you? You know, smart and pretty but nice?”

When Anna Johnson asked Ella Samuelson for help in fixing her father up with a new wife, Ella only agreed because she knew the child and her father had been through the wringer.

The only woman Josh Johnson wanted was his matchmaker, Ella. But his little girl had to be his first priority. He and Starlight were the only stability Anna had ever had. And the only interest Ella had in Starlight was seeing it in her rearview mirror…

Visiting Starlight is always the best escape! This small town always delivers on easy to connect with characters, delectable romance and buckets full of heart and I always adore my visits.

Ella tries so hard to be aloof and not care a bit about the people and town that witnessed her heartbreak all those years ago, but she just can’t cover up the person she truly is at heart. I really liked her.

Josh is a sweetheart and I enjoyed seeing him fall hard for Ella … even when they were both denying it for all they were worth.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a small town romance with a close knit group of secondary characters that always aid in the homey feel of the storyline as each pair meets their match and works towards that happily ever after.
