A revelation to reunite…

or ruin them?

Dido hopes planning an elite wedding will launch her career—until she realizes the groom is Panos, her estranged Greek tycoon husband. When the truth explodes, the wedding is off, yet there’s more to lose when Panos unearths her shocking secret…

Believing Dido was a gold-digger, and discovering their marriage wasn’t actually valid, Panos blocked all contact never imagining she’d had his child! Now his outrage wars with the attraction that roars back to life. But his trust has been eviscerated. Will he claim Dido and his heir now that they’re his for the taking?

Fast paced and highly addictive! Star-crossed lovers are reunited in the latest from Annie West and I loved their chemistry right from the start. We are thrust quickly into a reunion of past loves and the tumultuous drama that surrounds their split. The characters are both likable characters with each having done something that makes them flawed, but in the end easily forgivable. He didn’t give her a chance to speak up for herself against gossip and she kept their child a secret because of the distance between them. His instant love for their child makes it really easy to see through the facade he puts into place to protect his heart. I really enjoyed the depth of their feelings even if they were hesitant to admit them. Very enjoyable!

His past came with a reputation

Saving her would redefine his future

Hell has frozen over! Because Viktor Lagransky, the son of a former mafia assassin, is the only person who believes officer Sheila Carlson’s ambush was orchestrated by one of her police colleagues. Viktor is trying to be the best bodyguard the Payne Protection Agency has ever seen—even if the stubborn cop doubts his true motives. But when her questions about her dad’s unsolved murder lead to a new string of attacks against her, she has no choice but to trust the former bad boy she’s always been attracted to. If only her attacker—and Viktor’s own family secrets—didn’t threaten their unexpected partnership…

Highly addictive intrigue and great character chemistry! Intense danger is circling as attraction sizzles when Officer Sheila Carlson finally has to admit that she actually likes the misfit toys of Payne Protection Agency. Sheila has been adamant that the guys who keep catching the bad guys during this insurance company theft ring are not to be trusted, but when she herself is the target of no good, she finally has to admit that they are sincere and qualified to help and aren’t the bad guys. I really enjoyed the connection she and Viktor forge as they each face their past as danger chases at their heals. The mystery is well developed, the characters are attention grabbing and the way it all comes together is shockingly satisfying. I am loving this series!

I disappear for a living. She’s the only person who’s ever actually seen me.

As the man who keeps Las Vegas Defiance MC’s secrets, I’ve made staying invisible an art form. I watch from the shadows so my brothers never have to look over theirs. I’ve worked too damn hard to let anyone close enough to find the cracks I’ve spent a lifetime hiding.

Then a woman fighting to protect Vegas’ most vulnerable kids starts receiving messages meant to break her, and she refuses to tell a single soul. Sage Matthews is all defiance with a stubborn need to protect everyone but herself.

I should keep my distance.
Watch. Wait. Let her fight the battle she thinks is hers alone.

But she’s fire wrapped around an iron will, and the closer the threat gets, the harder it becomes to stay the man who only watches. When those threats stop hiding behind a screen and come for her in the open, I stop watching from the shadows. I step out of them and become the threat.

One wrong move and I show her exactly what I’m capable of.
One right move and I might lose myself to her instead.
Some secrets are worth killing to protect.
Some women are worth setting fire to your darkness for.
But with Sage, I might burn every piece of mine to the ground.

Mysteriously addictive! Next up for Osborn’s Las Vegas Defiance MC series is Ghost and Sage. Ghost has been a mystery for the majority of the series, but he’s always there to support his brothers and their old ladies when he’s needed. I felt like there was a good bit missing from giving a history of what happened so far in this series to catch a reader up on the characters as a whole. I liked Ethan and how kind he was, especially the effort he puts in to getting to know her sister. Sage was too secretive for my liking. The drama felt like it would have moved along more smoothly if only she had confided her secret sooner. I like the characters and this MC a lot as a whole, but this wasn’t my favorite because of how slow the pace was and little catch up from prior books. Looking forward to the more to come though.

One desperate lie. One unexpected family.

Mikko Laaksonen is the NHL’s best defenseman and a brand new dad, trying to balance hockey and fatherhood. When a panic attack threatens his season, he makes a desperate decision to save his career.

Shannon Wilder has spent years working towards becoming a speech pathologist and leaving her hometown behind. With a job waiting in Denver, she's finally getting the fresh start she's always wanted.

Until Mikko admits he told the team they’re married.

Shannon should walk away. Instead, she’s drawn to his daughter who needs stability and the single dad trying his hardest to get it right.

What starts as a favor quickly becomes something far more complicated. Helping his daughter was one thing, but falling for her husband?

That was never supposed to happen.

Heartfelt, addictive and filled with humor. If you haven’t fallen for Linwood and all of the endearing characters living there, you are missing out! Vance’s Mayhem Hockey Club is packed with a great locale, easy to love supporting characters and hunky athletes who fall hard when they cross paths with their “one”. I love every minute of my visit there with each additional book in the series. This time we are getting to the heart of the attraction between Shannon and Mikko. There was a great lead up to this storyline at the end of the second book in the series, so we dive right into the fact that Mikko suddenly has a baby and desperately needs help. In walks Shannon and her snark to steal the show. The chemistry between them is phenomenal and they each make it so easy to fall for them. The book is well developed, other than a little bit too much mystery left in the what led up to the instant baby situation. I loved their friendship and how it grows easily with the connection between them and loving this precious baby. His friends both back in Linwood and on his team add a nice addition to the storyline and bring laughs often to the forefront. I hope we will get more from this series because I wholeheartedly love the town and club and youth team!

Shannon is my favorite character by far because she has such a sass to her that makes her impossible not to want to hug once you know her back story. She’s sincere and caring and you just know the barbs she lets fly are to protect herself from being walked on again. I adore her!

I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series to anyone who enjoys a hockey romance filled with a great team connection as well as friends back home that love and support them as they find their forever love.
