Operation Marriage…

Prince Quinton Corlow's life was turned upside down the day his divorce was filed and his military papers were executed. Seven years later, the embittered soldier returns, only to walk straight back into his ex-wife's life!

But when Quinn discovers he's still married to the one woman who could claim his heart, he realizes he must tackle the past for the future he wants…the future Anais wants, too. But can he convince his Cinderella bride to fight for their love?

A love story to warm our hearts! Years ago, two young souls impetuously eloped and planned to live happily ever after. Unfortunately, real life intruded on their dreams and they found themselves divorced and living separate lives before long. This is their reunion story. Raw emotion fills the pages as secrets and fears are exposed and connections are forged to try to find that happily ever after they both so desperately wanted.

Prince Quinton Corlow married a sweet commoner years ago with big dreams ahead for what their lives would be. His life was quickly shattered though when she left him and he couldn’t manage to pick up the pieces of what was left around him. He was told to initiate a divorce and was sent to serve his country in the military. Now he’s been summoned home … and one of the first people he stumbles upon is his ex-wife!

Dr. Anna Kincaid (former Princess Anais Corlow) can’t believe Quinn is here. She only recently returned to the area to work at a Rehab facility for injured soldiers. She can’t possibly stay here if he’s going to be around again. Her heart can’t stand it! She’s quickly stunned further when Quinn breaks the news to her that they are still married … and he doesn’t plan to complete the divorce after all!

Protecting the Enemy was originally published as Honor Bound. It has since been expanded, revised, and re-edited.

Twelve years ago, I gave up the love of my life because my family made the relationship impossible. Now that Ali has come back to me, I'm not going to give her up again.

It's been years since I've seen her, and I know she's hated me all this time. I never expected to see her working as an event planner for one of my father's business partners. But here she is, always snooping around and getting into trouble. I'm supposed to be providing security, but I can't stop thinking about her.

She's up to something, and it might put her in danger. She sees me as the enemy now. Maybe I am, but I'm not going to lose her again. I might be hired to protect the man she's working against, but my heart only wants to protect her.

Former high school sweethearts reunited! There’s a hint of danger, a sweet reunion, and pulling of heartstrings here and there. I had a good bit of trouble connecting with this couple in the beginning, but once they got through some of their issues, they became a little more open and easier to get a feel for.

Sebastian Maxwell has never forgotten his first and only love. Family pressure forced him to leave her behind, but she’s never been far from his mind over the years. Now he’s back home after years in the military and trying to pick up the pieces of his life. He can’t believe it when he sees Ali working with an event planner at one of his father’s crony’s houses. He’s in charge of the security around the place and keeps catching her snooping around in parts of the house where she doesn’t even belong … what’s going on here?

Ali Cooper hasn’t had it easy since Seb dumped her. The plans for life that she always dreamed of never managed to happen, and she’s doing everything she can just to stay afloat day in and day out. When opportunity arises to possibly right a wrong, will Sebastian be willing to help her even the stakes are high for him, or will she be on her own yet again?

  • Is there a special memory that you have about when you decided you wanted to become an author?

I was fortunate to be very close to my grandmother, who adored romances. She had shopping bags full of them in her closet. She was forever swapping stories with her sisters. I don’t think I have a childhood memory that didn’t include those books. I do believe the seed to becoming an author began then, it just took me a while to plant it!

That moment was on a trip to Wales when the characters from the Lovers and Legends series just appeared while I walked around a castle. They didn’t give me a choice; I had to write about them.

  • Is there a particular author that you remember being the first that drew you into being a fan of the Romance genre?

I’ve been reading romances for as long as I can remember, but there was a time when I stopped (I blame my other job on this). However, by serendipity I came across Amanda Quick’s story Mistress, and was hooked forevermore. Now my kids don’t have childhood memories without romance books in their lives…

  • If you could visit one place in the world that you have never been, where would it be?

As a family we try to gallivant as much as possible, but there are places we haven’t gone to because we’re waiting for my daughter to be a bit older. The kids are currently clamouring for Australia (they watch a lot of nature shows on dangerous animals, which seem to all be there).

  • What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?

When I’m not writing, it’s all about my family. I enjoy my daughter playing her violin and singing off key, and my fidgety son taking apart my appliances and building something new. Okay, maybe I don’t exactly enjoy it when he takes apart my appliances, but I’m always amazed what he does with all the little broken bits afterward.

  • Is there a topic you’ve always wanted to write about that you haven’t had a chance to yet?

The only detriment to writing romances today is Time. Nothing is off the table now. There’s no end to the range and depth of emotions nor how to explore them. I’ve addressed grief from massacres, murders, and sickness. Happiness from gardening and new inventions. Excitement from espionage. And my favourite, Love, in all its many facets. I can’t write fast enough!

  • Any future books or projects that you want to share with us to look forward to?

In November, Her Christmas Knight releases. This is Hugh’s and Alice’s story. Hugh was from The Knight’s Broken Promise, the first book in the Lovers and Legends series. I knew his story would take the series in a whole new direction (because of that vow he gave at the end). And oh boy, now that it’s releasing, I’m exploring those new directions with more stories. Of course at this rate, the series may never end!

Nicole first discovered romance novels hidden in her grandmother’s closet. Convinced hidden books must be better, Nicole greedily read them. It was only natural she should start writing them (but now not so secretly). If she isn’t working on the next book in the Lovers and Legends historical series, she can be reached at:
