In pursuit of the truth,

she finds desire…

Going undercover lands her under the covers…

with her boss!

When her reality-TV star stepmother threatens her rightful inheritance, designer Sophie Blackwood fights back. To get dirt on the gold digger, she poses as a consultant to media CEO Nigel Townshend. But Sophie can’t resist the dreamy Brit, and professionalism takes a turn toward passion. Suddenly everything is at stake if her secret is exposed—her family legacy and the man she desires…

Secrets, lies and steamy passion! With book three of the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Inheritance series, Jules Bennett takes us on a secret filled ride with FROM BOARDROOM TO BEDROOM. I wanted to love this book because I’m enjoying the series as a whole, but it fell a little flat for me. The characters had potential and at times had an intriguing connection, but the story line didn’t keep me interested or pan out with enough excitement or follow through.

Sophia Blackwood is at her wits end. She wants to find dirt on her wicked ex-stepmother, but to do so, she feels like she needs to go in undercover at the production company of the reality TV show that she stars in.

CEO Nigel Townshend can’t believe his luck when his new temporary assistant is actually coming up with great ideas … only problem is he’s much too tempted by her and has a no dating an employee policy!

This series is a continuing story line of a family torn apart by the reading of their father’s will that left their former step-mother holding the keys to their family legacy. Secrets, passion and temptation are around every corner. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series.

He’s sworn off protecting women and children

But this latest case changes everything!

Ever since tragedy struck years ago, bodyguard Callum Colton has avoided working with families. Yet when little Evie Hart becomes a witness to a kidnapping, Callum puts aside his fears to protect Evie and her mother, Hazel. That means moving in with the single mom and her adorable child—just temporarily, he insists. But can Callum keep the Harts safe while protecting his own heart?

Lots of danger mixed with a touch of sweet, a smidge of sass and a whole lot of steam! With book three in the exciting Colton spin-off series The Coltons of Mustang Valley, Jennifer Morey takes us on an adventure filled emotional journey in COLTON FAMILY BODYGUARD. The intrigue had my attention right off the bat and the fast paced plot kept me riveted.

Callum Colton is a bit of a mystery to us so far in the series, so to learn his background story is very satisfying. The second he stepped in and helped a stranger and her little girl he endeared himself to me, and seeing him interact with that adorable little girl was super sweet.

Hazel Hart is easy enough to like. She’s working hard to make a satisfying life for her daughter and herself, so isn’t sure what to make of being thrown into a whirlwind of luxury amid the Coltons.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series so far to anyone who enjoys a fast paced story filled with intrigue and happily ever afters but who also likes the slow build of an on-going mystery that will fester throughout the entire series until the last book gives us answers.
