If there’s a way to her heart…

…he’ll jump at the chance!

CEO Shane Monroe sticks out like a sore thumb in Second Chance, Idaho, where he’s investigating his grandfather’s connection to the town’s folklore of stolen treasure. Feisty local Franny Clark ridicules his city-slicker ways but allows Shane to hunt for gold on her land…if he can help save her rodeo ranch. Shane is captivated by Franny’s go-getting attitude, but what will it take for him to win her over?

The matching of the Monroes continues in the fourth book of The Mountain Monroes series by Melinda Curtis. In LASSOED BY THE WOULD-BE RANCHER we get to know Shane Monroe better and watch him meet his match in Franny Clark. This series has many characters to keep track of with a large family and a town surrounding them, but each story brings us a new happy ending for one of the grandchildren sent to Second Chance, Idaho to discover what it meant to their grandfather.

Shane has been outspoken and intrusive in the previous books of the series, so I didn’t go into this book liking him all that much. Luckily things change … and he showed a whole other side of himself when he interacted with Franny and her family.

Franny is a force to be reckoned with and you can’t help but love her spunk. She has heartache and pain in her recent past, but she doesn’t let it mire her down. She’s determined to make the best of what she’s got … and if Shane wants to be a part of that, she’s game!

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone enjoying a family centered series that has various members of the family finding their happily ever after along the way as they strive towards figuring out a mystery. I loved seeing a couple more family members come into the story line heavier in this book and can’t wait to get to know them more.

I swore off romance after my ex broke my heart, so I’m not thrilled to be back home performing maid-of-honor duties for my twin sister. Her bridesmaids want everything to be capital P Perfect, and the best man, Flynn Lewis, is a giant pain in the ass—if his emails are anything to go by. Thank God for the delicious distraction next door: the anonymous “Mr. Suit.”

My nameless neighbor is utterly gorgeous and oh-so-serious. After a racy night of passion at his place, the truth comes out. “Mr. Suit” and Flynn Lewis are one and the same. Flynn wants a woman who’s as serious as he is—someone who wants to stay in Melbourne. But I’m happiest heading off on another adventure. We might be complete opposites, but the chemistry between us is red-hot…as long as no one gets burned.

So much steamy goodness!! With the second book in her Close Quarters series, Stefanie London has knocked it out of the park with THE FLING! The characters are divine, the chemistry is explosive and the drama keeps us coming back for more. I adored this story!

Drew is attention grabbing from the first page. She’s bound and determined to give her sister the wedding activities of her dreams … even if she has to put up with clueless bridesmaids, annoying in-laws-to-be and temptation knocking at her door.

Flynn is a dream. He’s so devoted to his family and finding answers to their dilemmas that he doesn’t take enough time to enjoy life … but the second Drew bangs her way into his realm, he sees the light!

I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a steamy romance with tons of heart and drama mixed in. I’m enjoying this series so much!

He needed someone by his side.

Someone he could trust.

A terrorist attack is looming, and Delta Force soldier Hunter Mancini must team up with CIA operative Sue Chandler—again. Their mission: find and stop a radical group before it obtains and detonates a nuclear weapon. But as disaster threatens, Sue reveals a secret even this action-hardened warrior couldn’t imagine. Now with everything on the line, getting the job done is the top priority. Not that Hunter is about to forget the truths Sue has been hiding for far too long…

Could answers be just around the corner? With the second book in her Red, White and Built: Delta Force Deliverance series, Carol Ericson takes us on quite the ride with UNDERCOVER ACCOMPLICE. The characters have a previous connection that heightens the tension when they are thrown together to find answers of who’s behind all of the subterfuge before they and those they care about are taken down.

Sue is complex. We want to like her because she appears to be on the good side and is fighting hard against corruption, but on the flip side, she’s taken her lies and secrecy a step too far.

I adored Hunter. From the first time he steps into a scene he portrays a strong, caring man who will not let anything happen to those he cares about if he can at all help it. He’s thrown for a loop with some of the info he learns, but he is still kindhearted enough to listen and try to understand before he reacts.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an intense suspense story with an underlying romantic connection going on. I’m enjoying this series so far and can’t wait to see what we find out in the end.

While gaining the heiress’s trust,

will he lose all self-control?

Hired to go undercover and discredit the widow of a millionaire philanthropist, investigator Rhett Brannon is torn. With her vulnerability and dedication to her late husband’s legacy, Trinity Hyatt doesn’t fit his preconceptions of a gold digger. Even so, Rhett is determined to get to the truth behind her intentions. But will his growing attraction to Trinity destroy everything they’re both fighting for?

Temptation around every corner! With the first book in her new Louisiana Legacies series, Dani Wade brings us ENTANGLED WITH THE HEIRESS, a delightful story of hidden secrets and delectable attractions.

Trinity is a really easy character to be drawn to. She’s strong and assertive when she needs to be, but underneath she’s real and allows her vulnerability to show.

I wanted to like Rhett so much, because he really was a good guy at heart, but the lies and cover-ups as she gave him her trust were hard to swallow. In the end he came through for her though, so I enjoyed their HEA.

I recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a bit of subterfuge with their romance. Secrets have a way coming back to bite you, and this story is no different. She’s got secrets that portray a situation that really wasn’t true, and he’s got secrets that keep him from truly being able to share his life with her. I can’t wait to see what the future books in the series will bring!
