Dare she dream of a family…

…with a heartbroken single dad?

Kirri West is dedicated to helping women who can’t have children. A heartache she lives with every day. But as she joins Ty Sawyer’s groundbreaking clinic, the gorgeous surgeon and his little girl become the kind of distraction she’s long avoided! While they could be a perfect family, Ty and Kirri would have to lay their hearts on the line first…

Miracles in the Making duet
Book 1 — Risking Her Heart on the Single Dad
Book 2 — The Neonatal Doc’s Baby Surprise by Susan Carlisle

Two wounded souls unite! With her poignant way of wrapping a character around her reader’s heart, Annie O’Neil does it once again in RISKING HER HEART ON THE SINGLE DAD. With book one in the Miracles in the Making duet, we meet a widowed single dad and a woman who can’t have the children she always dreamed of. The emotion is high throughout the story, and the characters are well developed and inspiring.

Australian neonatal surgeon Kirri West bares her heart to the reader early in the book and gains our sympathy and respect from the start. She’s spending her life trying to revolutionize a treatment to help others not be stuck childless like she is. When an opportunity to work in a leading edge lab in America comes to pass, she can’t pass it up.

Fellow neonatal surgeon Ty Sawyer is impressed with Kirri’s work and invites her to Atlanta to use his facilities to further her work. This widowed single dad to an adorable little girl is easy to fall for and you’ll quickly find yourself pulling for a new happily ever after for him.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a medical romance filled with emotion and heart. I’m looking forward to the second half of the duet, which is going to be Kirri’s big brother’s story.
