It will take someone special…

…to thaw her frozen heart!

The Arctic Circle’s remote tranquility made it the perfect place for ex-army doc and former child star Annie Masters to open her clinic. But her cherished anonymity is ruined when celebrity surgeon Rafe Bradstone arrives in town! Seeing that she uses her work as a safe haven, dynamic Rafe seems determined to show her what she’s missing out on. And it’s working… She’s beginning to imagine a future—with him!

A can’t miss debut! With her first novel, Juliette Hyland brings an intriguing new voice to the Harlequin Medical line. With the first few lines of the book, a vision was painted of a hero I instantly wanted to hug for the sorrow it was clear he had suffered. Once the heroine was brought in with an equally interesting backstory, it was game over. I wasn’t putting that book down until I made it to that happily ever after!

Rafe Bradstone had me from hello. He was kind, he was helpful and most of all he was a wounded soul. Who could resist this guy?

Annie Masters was complex. She had a chip on her shoulder, but once we learned her history and why she had her guard up we more easily connected with her.

I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a story filled with a medical forefront but also filled to the brim with chemistry, heart and dramatic fulfillment. There were a couple of spots that could have been delved into a bit more, but overall a tremendously well-rounded debut. I’m anxiously awaiting more from this new storyteller!

They’re wrong for each other, but the chemistry is undeniable.

It’s not personal
It’s business. Sort of…

But it’s just one date—a wish fulfillment—for philanthropist and single mom Eva DeLongpre’s charity and a PR opportunity for Mayor Joe Aguirre’s reelection. Giving in to their mutual attraction was just a spontaneous, delicious one-off. But as the election turns ugly, Joe is forced to declare his intentions for Eva. When the votes are counted, she’s hoping love wins in a landslide.

Instant connections pave the way to lots of drama! With book two in her series The Taylor Triplets, Lynne Marshall brings us Eva’s story as she moves closer to what she her newly found twin sis Lacy. It picks up soon after the first book ended and builds on a sisterhood bond in the making as well as a new romance.

Evangelina is an easy going character. Her entire life was turned upside down when she learned she had a twin sister out there that she had no clue about, but she took it in stride and settled in to make up for lost time.

Joe is delightful. He’s a mayor running for re-election and his connection with Eva is making for some interesting gossip headlines from his opponent.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a bit of intrigue mixed in with a gentle romance. There’s a feisty senior citizen, an adorable baby and several other supporting characters that make this story fun.
