A Parisian reunion

With the one that got away!

Celebrity chef James Harrington never expected to find himself face-to-face with Chloe, his first love, again… Especially with her working as a chambermaid at his luxury hotel! Their chemistry’s as strong as ever, but it’s clear she’s hiding a secret. This Christmas, can James convince Chloe that their love is worth taking a chance on—again?

A breathtaking reunion! With the first book in the exciting new Christmas at the Harrington Park Hotel trilogy, Liz Fielding spins a magical tale of reconnection and healing when celebrity chef James Harrington stumbles across his first love working as a chambermaid at his family’s luxury hotel. The characters are divine and their story is swoon worthy. I’m looking forward to book two by Kandy Shepherd, coming soon!

James has his mind on business and family when he stumbles across the one that got away and instant spark reignites them instantly. He’s a good hearted character and easy to sympathize with.

Chloe has learned that struggling to survive is a way of life when you’re out on your own, and seeing James again just reminds her of why she’s doing it. An over-controlling family got in the way of her happiness once and she won’t allow it to happen again.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a reunion with secrets to uncover and love to relearn. I’m looking forward to the rest of the trilogy.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Survive.

Marilyn Ellis is finally putting her life back together. The domestic abuse she suffered may be labeled textbook by therapists, but it's the parts she's never told anyone that haunt her.

She refuses to get trapped in that hell ever again.

Former Special Forces soldier turned rancher Noah Dempsey is more than capable of training the delicate single mom in moves and tactics that will help her feel safe. But his own tortured past makes him decidedly less qualified for anything more.

No matter how much her big eyes--and even bigger heart--draw him in.

However, when unexpected danger arrives in their small town, Noah knows this is a woman worth fighting for. Worth fighting beside. And he's going to be the one to do it.

She needs a hero.
He'll have to remember how to be one.

A powerful journey of healing! With book ten in her highly addictive Linear Tactical series Janie Crouch brings the story of a couple of characters who will be familiar to anyone who also reads her Harlequin Intrigue books. Marilyn and Noah were key characters in part of her Bree and Tanner series and watching them get their happily ever after is super satisfying. A few aspects of the book were a bit repetitive if you read that trilogy, but overall it’s a solid read of a new and interesting story line with some cameos from some of the Linear Tactical team. There are aspects of the story that may trigger some readers.

Marilyn is a character who will tear your heart out and put it back together again as we suffer her after-trauma with her and watch her gain confidence and heal under the watchful eye of her kids. She is a solid character who blossoms and learns to love again.

Noah is a character who though he doesn’t believe he’s ready for mainstream life, he delights the reader with his amazing heart and his ability to know exactly what Marilyn needs even when she doesn’t know herself. He’s such a good guy!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a wounded soul being reborn when the right combination of love, nurturing and the power of healing take place. Lots of action and intrigue and very relatable characters all the way around. Looking forward to more to come in the series!

Can a single dad and a business whiz…

Find the right connection?

Swapping Silicon Valley for a Montana ranch isn’t Peyton Harrison’s choice. Nor is bringing along a bodyguard. But until threats subside at Peyton’s tech company, Matteo Rossi intends to watch over her while also reconnecting with his young son. Peyton’s instant bond with little Gino is making her rethink her path—and her feelings for Matteo. Is a new dream unfolding under Montana’s endless sky?

A dose of downhome sweetness! With book three in The Blackwell Sisters series Anna J. Stewart returns to delight fans with an opposites attract story with the next Harrison-Blackwell sibling. I loved Matteo and his mini me Gino!

Peyton is a tad disconnected and cold, but loosens up quickly as she begins to relax and enjoy Matteo and Gino as she gets to know this new bundle of family members. I ended up liking them together a lot.

Matteo is hunky! He’s kind, protective and such a sweetheart. Seeing him with Gino is enough to melt your heart.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a little drama with your sweet romance as a family reconnects with members they didn’t know they had. Looking forward to more in the series!

He’s the bad boy of baseball who’s about to lose everything.
She needs a husband to get custody of her teenage sister.
Suddenly a marriage of convenience doesn’t look so bad.

Pitcher, Jaxon Prescott has a lot on his plate. Major League Baseball. Reputation as a player. And now? He’s on the verge of losing it all. He didn’t mean to sleep with his general manager’s daughter or get into a brawl that was captured on camera. But his notoriety is a problem and everything he's worked for is at risk.

What’s a bad boy to do? Marry his sister's best friend to save his career, even if it’s the opposite of everything he wants and believes in.

Macy Walker is the sole guardian of her half-sister until the girl’s mother returns and wants her daughter back. In order to win custody, Macy needs to provide stability and marrying someone would do the trick. Luckily for her, her best friend’s brother needs a wife.

They're this close to getting exactly what they want - as long as they don't fall in love.

This series just keeps getting better! With book three in her always steamy Dare Nation series Carly Phillips brings the bad boy baseball playing brother to life in DARE TO PLAY. Jaxon has always felt like the underdog in the family, but playing baseball has been a dream come true, and he’s not ready to throw that dream away just because he likes to enjoy life a little bit in his downtime. Watching him fall in love when he least expects it is golden and I just can’t tell you how much I loved the side of him that Macy brought out. Looking forward to more in the series!

Jaxon is adorable. He’s sexy and man does he know it, and he enjoys the revolving door of women in his bed, but he’s up in arms of why everything has to be such a big deal to the powers that be in management. He doesn’t want to settle down and stop hitting the daily headlines, but what’s a guy to do?

Macy is super easy to like. She’s trying hard to care for her rebellious teen sister but now her former step-mom has decided she wants to play at being a mother again and she’s afraid she’s not going to be able to protect her sis from her. A night of fun with Jaxon is just what she needs to let off a little steam, but she’s not expecting them to decide a marriage of convenience will solve both of their problems.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves the saga of a high powered family of siblings in the sports world finding their happily ever after one at a time amid drama, corruption and sibling love.

Hunted through the wild…

Can they outsmart criminals and nature?

Investigating sabotage on a construction site, journalist Jackie Dutton stumbles on a murder—and barely escapes when she flees and falls off a cliff. Only quick thinking from law-enforcement ranger Shawn Burkett, her ex-boyfriend, saves her. Now facing a massive blizzard and relentless pursuers together, they must rely on their fragile trust and wilderness skills to get out alive…

Exciting from start to finish! WILDERNESS SABOTAGE by Heather Woodhaven brings a couple back together in an unexpected reunion as they race against time to save their lives from the danger on their heels. The plot was easy to get into and the risk to their lives around every corner held the reader’s attention easily.

Jackie is strong and capable in her own right, but secure in herself enough to be able to trust the man that walked out of her life all of those years ago when he’s the only thing keeping her alive on more than one occasion.

Shawn is a forgiving man, and though he was the one to walk away he had extenuating circumstances that hurt him more than they did her. Watching them have to work together and grow close again as they tried to make it out was satisfying.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a lot of action and danger swirling in the midst of a faith based romance.
