GENEVIEVE

I've never played by the rules. Women don't run gangs, yet I'm the leader of the biggest one in Liverpool. No one knows I've stepped into my father's shoes and that I'm making changes. Taking on the Royal Bastards MC is not a good idea, but I want the wealth and power they have. I want my family's legacy to live on long after I'm gone. Doing that means making difficult decisions. I didn't expect the Royal Bastards to retaliate so savagely.

Now, I'm prisoner of their President, a man who goes by the name of Mouth. He's dangerous, vicious and he wants to make my father pay for crimes I've committed. Can I survive his wrath?

MOUTH

This prissy woman is a thorn in my side, but she's the only way to exact my revenge. Crossing the Bastards is an instant death sentence, and when I'm done with Genevieve, her father is going to beg for mercy I won't deliver. I'm not someone to cross without retribution and mine will be swift. I will destroy The Dockland Gang and every person associated with them, including Desmond's pretty little daughter. She's a doll I want play with and I will break her down piece by piece, because now that she's in my control I'm never letting her go.

*Warning : Contains adult content, reading age 18 +. Graphic violence and dark emotional scenes that may trigger some readers.

Gritty, raw and consuming! With the first book in her Royal Bastards MC: Liverpool, England series Jessica Ames delivers an MC romance with a twist. In INTO THE FLAMES we have an MC President taking on the gutsy new female head of a deadly street gang who is out to take over his territory. It’s unorthodox and I wanted a bit more development to take me into the heart of their worlds, but I enjoyed the two characters together very much. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good group of MC guys who are loyal to a fault and don’t take any gruff off of anyone.

Audrey Parker’s life changes forever when Pearl Harbor is attacked on December 7, 1941. Her brother, a talented young Navy pilot, had been stationed there, poised to fulfill their late father’s distinguished legacy. Fresh out of nursing school with a passion and a born gift for helping others, both Audrey and her friend Lizzie suddenly find their nation on the brink of war. Driven to do whatever they can to serve, they enlist in the Army and embark on a new adventure as flight nurses.

Risking their lives on perilous missions, they join the elite Medical Air Evacuation Transport Squadron and fly into enemy territory almost daily to rescue wounded soldiers from the battlefield. Audrey and Lizzie make enormous sacrifices to save lives alongside an extraordinary group of nurses: Alex, who longs to make a difference in the world; Louise, a bright mind who faced racial prejudice growing up in the South; Pru, a selfless leader with a heart of gold; and Emma, whose confidence and grit push her to put everything on the line for her patients.

Even knowing they will not achieve any rank and will receive little pay for their efforts, the “Flying Angels” will give their all in the fight for freedom. They serve as bravely and tirelessly as the men they rescue on the front lines, in daring airlifts, and are eternally bound by their loyalty to one another. Danielle Steel presents a sweeping, stunning tribute to these incredibly courageous women, inspiring symbols of bravery and valor.

Captivatingly addictive! FLYING ANGELS is the latest Danielle Steel novel to use it’s gentle prose and emotional pull to wrap itself around this reader’s heart and take me into the depth of a telling of strength, sacrifice and perseverance. I was hooked quickly and enjoyed every minute of this tale of several brave women who put their life on the line day after day to honor their country and their soldiers. The journey is emotional and fully rewarding.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a time in history that feels all too real when you are living it day after day in the heart of a group of strongly told characters.

A grumpy single dad, two adorable children and a jilted actress have hung their stockings…will Santa bring love for Christmas or chunks of coal?

Famous actress Holly Turner arrives in Garland Grove with a bang when she crashes her sports car in the middle of the town square. Facing humiliation after getting very publicly dumped by her fiancé for another actress, she's looking for a place to escape. But when all the inns are full, she's forced to stay at the bed and breakfast run by the grumpiest of owners, Forest Sully. The bonus? His adorable niece and nephew.

Forest Sully has no use for spoiled actresses but when Holly needs a place to stay, he's only too happy to rent her a room at his empty bed and breakfast. Raising his parentless niece and nephew, he's desperate to save the family home for their sake. Given how things are going, he'll lose the place to the bank before the snow melts in the spring.

Can a Christmas miracle save them all?

A jilted bride stumbles across the most delightful downhome Christmas she could have ever dreamed of! Tess Thompson brings an adorable family with a grumpy uncle to life in a delightful way when a wayward actress literally crashes into their Christmas with a bang. The back stories are emotional and the sweetness of these little kiddos steals the show as kindness and love win out in this addictive holiday tale!

Holly is a sweetheart who has the world at her fingertips in Hollywood but somehow keeps losing out when it comes to love and loyalty.

Forest is bitter and frustrated but truly has a sweet endearing quality that makes him enormously lovable.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a small town Christmas romance filled with heart, romance and sweet surprises around every corner.

The girl was beautiful, even in death. Her skin was translucent beneath the sliver of moonlight peeking through the bare branches of the surrounding pines, and her chestnut hair had tumbled around her pale shoulders. Around her, smoke twisted in the air, curling into the inky sky.

The remote town of Crooked Creek has barely recovered from its most recent tragedy when wildfires tear through the mountains. Detective Ellie Reeves is grappling with her own heartbreak––she has just discovered she was adopted and that her childhood was a lie.

Under the scorching summer sun, Ellie is called to a river where a body has been found. She spots a lone woman’s shoe caught in a nearby tangle of vines, and a pearl necklace scattered by the water’s edge. The remains are surrounded by a circle of stones, which Ellie is certain means something. Was the victim––whoever she was––caught in the fire or is something more sinister at play?

The Fourth of July usually means festivals and fireworks, but when another body turns up the town is left in tatters. A young girl with dark hair lies dead, surrounded by stones, smoke drifting in the air. Thanks to an engraved silver necklace, Ellie identifies the body as eighteen-year-old Katie Lee Curtis, and the diary she finds hidden under the teenager’s mattress could get her close to the killer.

With two victims in less than twenty-four hours, it’s clear Ellie’s up against a serial killer, and she vows that no more innocent girls will be sacrificed. For her, every day is a battle to come to terms with her past, but when this case becomes personal, will she win?

Pulse pounding danger will keep you guessing while this high stakes story of secrets and intrigue steals you away! THE BURNING GIRLS is the third book in Rita Herron’s Detective Ellie Reeves and picks up shortly after the previous two books to take us for a ride of redemption, healing and rediscovery along with Ellie. I enjoy her wisdom and perseverance when the going gets tough.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a top notch detective who puts her entire heart into finding justice for the innocent victims that gruesomely cross her path.

The truth doesn’t always set you free...

Theo

This isn’t the life I wanted.

Being a reporter for my family’s media conglomerate instead of a pro hockey player was never my plan.

And yet, here I am with no other prospects.

What I do have is anger. The all-consuming, isolating kind.

Until I meet Amelia. She calms my mind, soothes my soul, ignites my body.

Still … I sometimes wonder if fate brought her here to save me—or break me once and for all.

Amelia

All I ever wanted was to be a journalist.

Working for an almost tabloid is not ideal. But for now, it’s the best I can do.

I won’t lose my integrity, though. I’ll never be a liar.

Which makes my new assignment that much harder.

To keep my job, I need to use Theo for a story. It helps that my byline doesn’t match the name by which he knows me. Still … I like him. I don’t want to betray him.

And worst of all, he makes me want to extend our relationship past my policy of one-night-stands.

When the truth is spilled, will Theo and Amelia be able to take a shot at love? Or will their romance end up as nothing more than yesterday’s news?

Explosive chemistry and a red hot romance! With the first full length book in her new Sins of the Fathers series Arell Rivers delivers a hero that’s harder to like than the usual ones she writes, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of Theo, but I did enjoy the story as a whole. There are secrets, subterfuge and anger to get past, but in the midst there is a sweetness when they are together that carries their romance through many twists and turns. I’m enjoying the mystery of the company and what the guys families were up to as well.

I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a bit of a mystery behind a strong willed romance.
