One kiss with her best friend…
changes everything.

Their engagement may be fake…

But the chemistry is as real as it gets!

Josie Coleman has the perfect plan to get rid of her bothersome ex-husband: pretend she’s about to marry again. But her fake engagement to her best friend, Reese Conrad, isn’t going as expected. His steamy, toe-curling kisses are anything but friendly…and their simple plan leads to very complicated feelings. Too bad that isn’t the only surprise Reese has in store…

A ready-made romance! Jules Bennett delights with a friends to lovers romance with the third and final book in her Lockwood Lightning trilogy. This series has been been a fast paced uncovering of secrets with each book centering on exposing the next puzzle piece. SCANDALOUS ENGAGEMENT is sure to please and brings a nice conclusion to the drama of the series.

Josie Coleman is easy enough to like. She married for all the wrong reasons, and now it’s coming back to bite her when she can’t get her ex to realize there is no future there for them. The only thing she can think of to try is claiming she has moved on.

Reese Conrad is easygoing and enjoyable. He has uncovered a secret that is weighing on him, but he’s still quick to jump in and help Josie with her own problem. Of course their pretend engagement wasn’t really planned out all that much!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves their romance mixed with a little family drama. The entire series has been a lot of fun to read.

From New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis comes a friends-to-frenemies-to-lovers story… Add in a few secrets. Shake. Stir. Then read on a lazy summer day at the beach…

Brynn Turner desperately wishes she had it together, but her personal life is like a ping-pong match that’s left her scared and hurt after so many attempts to get it right. In search of a place to lick her wounds and get a fresh start, she heads back home to Wildstone.

And then there’s Kinsey Davis, who after battling serious health issues her entire twenty-nine years of life, is tired of hoping for . . . well, anything. She's fierce, tough, and she’s keeping more than one bombshell of a secret from Brynn -- her long-time frenemy.

But then Brynn runs into Kinsey's best friend, Eli, renewing her childhood crush. The good news: he’s still easy-going and funny and sexy as hell. The bad news: when he gets her to agree to a summer-time deal to trust him to do right by her, no matter what, she never dreams it’ll result in finding a piece of herself she didn’t even know was missing. She could have real connections, possibly love, and a future—if she can only learn to let go of the past.

As the long days of summer wind down, the three of them must discover if forgiveness is enough to grasp the unconditional love that’s right in front of them.

Jill Shalvis always delights with her quick wit, laugh out loud snark and lovable characters that always wrap themselves around a reader’s heart within a few pages of dialogue. This most recent visit to Wildstone is no exception!

Eli Thomas was definitely the star of the book for me. He’s kind, he’s loyal and he loves hard. His childhood crush on fellow summer camp attendee Brynn flares back to life quickly the moment he runs into her again.

Brynn Turner is easy to like. She finds herself once again trying to pick up the pieces after a man lets her down, and she’s not so sure she ever wants to let her guard down again. Running into Eli reminds her that there is good in the world … she’s just not sure she can take the jump to letting herself see it.

Kinsey Davis is your typical mean girl, but as we get to know her, we see the soft side hiding behind all of her biting words. She’s Eli’s best friend and secrets she doesn’t want to share endanger the life he wants to throw himself into.

I highly recommend this story and the entire Wildstone series to anyone who enjoys a heartfelt romance with an equal amount of drama, love and sass. It’s always a joy to visit this town!

Can the inexperienced nerdy girl tame the notorious player?

Decadently sinful! With book four in her Men of Inked: Heatwave series, Chelle Bliss brings all the sassiness and feels in BLAZE. I adored the characters, the pace of the story was spot on and the laugh out loud moments were divine. The ending was a bit abrupt with a smidge of a cliffhanger, but I loved them so much that I can’t complain. Looking forward to the next in the series!

Jett Michaels is strong, opinionated and so so swoonworthy. He has never been ashamed of living life, but he’s always had a time in the back of his mind when he would claim his destiny … and that time is now.

Lily Gallo is adorable! She’s awkward as all get out, but it just works on her. She had me laughing on more than one occasion and I loved the easy chemistry she had with every person she interacted with.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves an opposites attract story of a couple who was plainly meant to be. They have a great cast of friends and family surrounding them that make a great back drop to their love story. I’m definitely going back to catch up on the books I’ve missed in the Gallo saga!

A reunion he never saw coming…

When one impulsive moment leads to another…

Though it has been nine years since Finn Murphy’s marriage combusted, his attraction to art dealer Beah Jenkinson has never dimmed. When work obligations throw them together in a London hotel, Finn hopes a casual affair will satisfy his yearnings. But as events lead them from Europe to Boston to plan their best friends’ wedding, he quickly discovers he and his ex have a lot of unfinished business…

Emotionally riveting! With the third and final book in her Murphy International series Joss Wood brings us that ultimate reunion story we’ve all been waiting for between Finn and Beah and it is golden! Well connected characters drive a fast paced story line that left me glued to the pages. I felt the friend’s wedding twist was a little disconnected, but the overall story was spot on and very satisfying!

Finn Murphy has been the brother that we’ve been waiting for since the first book in the series when we heard his ex-wife still worked in the company’s London office. He did not disappoint!

Beah Jenkinson is really easy to sympathize with. She was left to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and work hard to climb the ladder to achieve greatness in the art world she loves so much. Being back in the same room with Finn is difficult … especially when that same old chemistry sparks to life immediately.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close-knit family run business where all of the siblings find their happily ever afters. I enjoyed the men of Boston very much!

In a city where the air seems to breathe desire, Lila Campbell is taking matters into her own hands. She’ll tame Reid Rexford—one wild, wicked night at a time. The first book of J. Margot Critch’s Miami Heat miniseries.

Influencer Lila Campbell works damn hard to make her life look easy—posh celebrity-filled parties, luxe hotels, exotic travel and a following of millions. One public mistake could implode everything she’s built. Which is exactly why Lila shouldn’t be tempted by a mouthwateringly gorgeous stranger in Miami’s South Beach. Bad idea. Bad, bad…and too deliciously good to resist.

It’s just for tonight. Just long enough to put Lila in the world’s most compromising position when she finds out that her dishy one-nighter is Reid Rexford. Co-owner of one of the most sought-after rum distilleries in Florida—and a businessman whose ice-cold professionalism is the only thing that can control the smoldering heat when their bodies touch…

Reid doesn’t trust easily. And he sure as hell doesn’t buy into the idea that Lila has the power to turn Rexford Rum into an overnight success. He’s the sexiest, most stubbornly infuriating man Lila’s ever met. And she’s hooked.

What a scrumptious ride! With the first book in her brand new Miami Heat series J. Margot Critch brings the heat for sure when a one night stand leads to over and over again when blogger/influencer Lila connects on an all too sinful level with the king of rum Reid. Their story is fast paced and impossible to put down. I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!

Reid Rexford is straight-laced and all about business … until a one night fling turns into forever! The past makes it hard for him to trust, but Lila has a way of easing her way into his heart and before he knows it their pillow talk is spilling things no one else knows.

Lila Campbell is delightful. She knows what she wants in life and is going after it full steam ahead, but meeting Reid makes her question whether he could be the beacon of home she’s been searching for.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a passion filled game of give and take until they can’t resist pledging their hearts forever.

Next stop, paradise—With the man of her forbidden fantasies?
Giving in to desire with her brother’s best friend…

A secluded island resort is the perfect romantic setting for the night of passionate abandon Allison Randall plans to share with Zane Patterson. Her elder brother’s best friend has always been off-limits…and Zane is determined to keep it that way. But when a storm strands them together, neither can hold back. Everything Allison dreamed of is finally in reach…until unwelcome revelations threaten a rude awakening!

Deliciously forbidden! With the second book in the Dynasties: Seven Sins series Karen Booth delights us with a tempting brother’s best friend story. The characters were super easy to connect with and watching their passion for each other stew until they were ready to give in was exhilarating!

Allison Randall is a doll. She speaks her mind and goes for what she wants in life, and she’s being given the chance to redeem her former nervous teenage self who was too scared to admit her crush on her big brother’s best friend.

Zane Patterson will be familiar to anyone who read the first book in the the series and you will already know a bit of his background. He’s a complex character who in the first book seemed like a bit of a hothead, but as we get to know him better shows his true self. He’s loyal and true, so considering starting something with Allison behind his BFF’s back isn’t sitting well with him.

I highly recommend this book as well as the previous one in the series to anyone who enjoys a fast paced story filled with passion, deceit and drama rich connections. I’m really enjoying the series and looking forward to more to come.

On a quest for justice, it’s a battle of duty versus desire

Emma Martin does her best to keep her past to herself, her heart hidden. But working closely with parole officer Jayden Powell has the attorney considering breaking her own rules. When a dire threat turns lethal, Jayden proves just how far he’d go to protect Emma. Would she go just as far to let him in—guarding her body and her heart?

An emotionally charged dive into danger! With the next book in her powerful Where Secrets Are Safe series Tara Taylor Quinn takes us into the heart of two of the people who help bring justice in SHIELDED IN THE SHADOWS and I really enjoyed it!

Prosecutor Emma Martin is tough as nails, and she doesn’t allow much wiggle room in believing the good in people. She’s got a past that she doesn’t share with many, and it has scarred her quite a bit in her thinking. She has a quirky thing where she talks to her “bad girl” self that drove me a little crazy, but overall she was a solid character who believed in justice.

Parole officer Jayden Powell is such a nice guy. He believes in the redeeming power of a second chance and he goes out of his way to keep his guys on the straight and narrow, but also opens his heart to helping redeem the cases he can see really have their heart set on bettering themselves and the situation.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a strong plot of justice and intrigue with an emotional bit of romance mixed in. Ms. Quinn is always strong in bringing her characters to life and making them real in her reader’s heart.

Especially when he moves back to Cedar River—and into the lake house next door! Sean has come home, but is clearly keeping secrets from everyone, even his family. So why does he find himself wanting to bare his soul—and his heart—to Leah?

Reigniting with her long lost crush! With book four of her Culhanes of Cedar River series Helen Lacey is delighting us with a connection between David’s sister Leah and Sean O’Sullivan and it really hits the spot!

Leah Culhane-Petrovic is a delightful character. Her return home to Cedar River, SD to help nurse her father back to health coincides with Sean’s return, and reconnecting with the guy who used to make her heart sour is a rather pleasant surprise.

Sean O’Sullivan is easy to like once we discover he’s secretly struggling with a new way of life. He’s a bit morose and sullen, but opening up to Leah gives him a friend to work out solutions with … and the attraction flaring between them is becoming super hard to resist.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a small town romance with lots of interwoven characters, families and friends. I’m really enjoying this town!

“You want to kiss me?”

He should say no…

After moving his lab to northern Maine, billionaire inventor Farrell Stone needs a live-in housekeeper. Single mother Ivy Danby needs a job to support her baby daughter. Both problems solved. Except Ivy fascinates Farrell, more than any temporary employee should. Widowed Farrell doesn’t do relationships, but would one sizzling night with Ivy be a huge mistake…or the fresh start they both need?

Love when they least expect it! With book two in her Men of Stone River series Janice Maynard continues to delight with Farrell’s story. This trio of brothers are a joy to interact with and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us with Zachary’s story coming up next.

Farrell is dreamy. He’s smart, rich and treasured the love he found early in life. As he relocates his lab to his off the beaten path home in Northern Maine, he agrees to let his assistant Katie send a live-in housekeeper to keep him fed and taken care of when he’s buried in his creative fog. He just never expects to start falling for her and her adorable daughter.

Ivy is quick to nab a reader’s heart. We can tell from the start that her past isn’t pleasant and we feel protective of her quickly. Luckily Farrell does too and doesn’t disappoint in the way he grows to treasure her.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves watching a trio of close brothers find their happily ever afters one at a time. These guys are down to earth, fun and kind-hearted.

The man who broke her heart…

…wants to win her back!

Millionaire entrepreneur Damon Macy bitterly regrets betraying Eve Clark four years ago. Preventing a massive development in her beloved seaside town seems the perfect way to make amends. Only, his “knight in shining armor” strategy backfires spectacularly—she supported the project! Now Damon must work closely with the still devastatingly stunning but now wary Eve to redeem the situation—and hopefully himself in the process…

Love against the odds! REDEMPTION OF THE MAVERICK MILLIONAIRE by Michelle Douglas brings us a heartfelt reunion story. The characters are endearing, and their reuniting is sweet.

Damon Macy is easy to like even though he did her wrong years ago. It’s blatantly obvious that he has so much regret for the part he played in changing her world, and he’ll do just about anything to make sure her future is protected.

Eve Clark is surprisingly happy in her new life regardless of the heartbreak she endured a few years ago. She’s hesitant to trust Damon, understandably … but watching them slowly start to reconnect is enjoyable.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a reunion after betrayal story. It’s fairly fast paced and filled with lots of turmoil and joy.
