Jordan Reiss has returned to Oak Creek, Wyoming after doing 6 years in prison for the horrible mistake she made. She knows the town hates her. Not only for her own doings, but also because her dad swindled so many of the townsfolk out of their life savings before he skipped town years ago. She doesn’t expect them to forgive her, but she hopes she can lay low enough to be able to peacefully co-exist because she’s really missed her home.

When all is said and done, they’re not sure who to trust anymore … but they know they have each other by their sides. Really good follow up to the first book. Looking forward to more to come!

Cade Calley isn’t sure which way is coming and going right now. He had just reunited with the love of his life when trouble came calling with no warning. They killed his best friend right in front of his eyes. He will stop at nothing to find whoever did this and seek revenge.

Indy is happy to be back in Cade’s arms again, but this loss has changed him. He’s pushing her away and putting up walls that she can’t figure out how to tear down. Just when she thinks she might be getting through to him, someone else winds up dead. It’s becoming obvious that someone is hunting the Kings. Only time will tell if they’ll figure out who it is before the body count keeps adding up!

The characters are interesting and the plot was appealing. We got a glimpse into happenings from several past characters and their lives as well. I enjoyed it!

It’s a very emotionally riveting read and pulls at our heartstrings heavily. Really loved this book and am looking forward to more of Tobias in the next book in the series!

Arin and her dog King have to make this decision and deal with the consequences. I found it hard to connect to this story. I didn’t mind the characters, it just felt like the action was a bit flat for my liking. I’ve enjoyed several of the books in the series, but this was sadly one of my least favorites.

Search and Protect team member Arin Siri works best when it’s just her and her K9 partner King. She’s all about getting things done as a team, but she doesn’t like taking any more orders than she has to, and her way works … amazingly well. When she stumbles across a wounded mercenary, she sets out to get him help … even though she’s not totally sure he’s trust worthy.

Jason Landon found himself in a mixed up situation when he discovered he was protecting the land of someone up to no good. He’s now facing hesitation on getting the good guys to trust him even though he wants to help put an end to this trafficking situation. When Arin decides to take a chance on trusting him, they find themselves fighting attraction as danger surrounds them.

A great return to Crimson, Colorado! A visit to this series is always sweet, heartwarming and yummy. The characters were well developed and easy to like and each had their own back story to bring into the mix of it all to keep our attention throughout. Really enjoyed!

He might not have known about her for several months, but now that he does, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to make the world right for her. Including making a deal with the one person she seems to connect with!

Paige Harper doesn’t want to like Shep and his adorable little girl, but who can resist a tasty man who melts at the sight of his daughter? The emotional conclusion of the Bad Bachelors series has arrived and it’s amazing! Without question, this is some of Stefanie London’s best work to date. She paved the way for this story with the first two books in the series where we got to know a couple of the guys who got hurt by the app Annie developed … then later paired up with her best friends where she got to hear about the grief it was causing while she tried to rationalize the good in it. Nothing prepared us for the true story behind it though. With this final book, we get to see what drove Annie to the point of unleashing this app on New York, and why she feels she’s helping people. Annie was likable, but also had a bit not to like about her. I felt her pain and frustration and even betrayal, but I felt Joe’s very strongly too. There was redemption needed on both sides, and London managed to bring it in a really powerful way. Really loved this series!

Annie Maxwell was on the cusp of a new chapter with the love of her life when in the blink of an eye it all came crumbling down around her. She could no longer go chase their dreams, and he chose to do it without her. He went on with his life, flaunting a new woman by his side with what she knew was supposed to have been HER ring on the new fiancee’s finger, and Annie got even in the only way she knew how. By creating the Bad Bachelors app to help women learn how to spot a man that was going to leave her heartbroken from a mile away.

Bank executive Joseph Preston is returning home to New York to see if there’s any chance of gaining Annie’s forgiveness. He spent three years in Singapore trying to pretend like he was over her, but he’s finally admitting to himself that he never stopped loving her. He tries to talk to her, but she’s putting up roadblocks … until danger surfaces and she needs computer expertise that only he can give her to find out who’s hacking her app and getting way too close to her personal space!

Secrets abound in the latest from Rachael Thomas! The characters were interesting and the secrets she had kept me reading to see how it would all play out. Interesting and compelling.

Lysandros Drakakis still wonders why the one woman he was beginning to let into his heart walked away from him a couple of months ago. A family upset leads her to be in his company again and he takes the opportunity to try to find out what scared her off. When he sees the opportunity to tie her to his side with a fake engagement, he jumps at the chance, hoping the time will lead him to reconnect with her for good.

Pianist Rio Armstrong was as infatuated with Lysandros as he was with her, but when something happened that scarred her soul, she pushed him away instead of going outside her comfort zone to be open with him about it. Will this time together force her hand and get the truth out into the open?
