One magical night…

…could change their lives forever!

After her ex leaves her penniless, nurse Molly Murphy takes an admin job in doctor Ryan’s practice. When Ryan needs a date for a charity ball, Molly finds herself wearing a gorgeous gown and sipping champagne for one sparkling night. But her Prince Charming guards his emotions closely. Dare they trust what’s in their hearts to find their own fairy-tale ending?

Finding a forever! This book was fairly light on the medical aspect, but it had a very heartwarming plot that grabbed my attention fairly quickly. I loved the underlying story of the two family’s coming together with so many similarities, but the romance fell a bit flat. Overall, an enjoyable book.

Nurse Molly Murphy finds herself finds herself needing to step back from her career for awhile and lucks into the perfect temp position as an administrative assistant at Dr. McFetridge’s practice. She a bit disillusioned with life right now, but it doesn’t take her long to see that beneath the showiness lies a very kind-hearted man!

Dr. Ryan McFetridge has his hands a bit full at this point in his life, but he really wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s enjoying himself tremendously and though he doesn’t have time for much in the way of a love life, he can’t help but find his new admin attractive. When circumstances throw them together for a magical night on the town together, who is he to contradict?

If he wanted her help catching a killer... he probably shouldn't have seduced her then thrown her in prison.

Hayley Green never wanted to see Omega special agent Cain Bennett again. Ever. He seduced her, then sent her to prison for hacking, and Hayley's only just started piecing her life back together. Except now Cain needs Hayley's help to catch a murderer. Their past is colliding with their still-smoldering attraction...and the only thing more dangerous than the killer is the secrets Hayley's been keeping.

Secrets abound in this nail-biter from Janie Crouch! With the next book in the Omega Sector: Under Siege series, we’re getting one step closer to finding out who the mole is inside Omega Sector! Cain Bennett is brought to the forefront to try to secretly track the movements of the traitor, but to do so, he needs the help of his former love … only she isn’t exactly free to help him right now! The story line was exciting throughout, and we got to step away from the action we’re used to and solve another case. I enjoyed it!

Omega Sector agent Cain Bennett knows the person that can help him uncover the traitor, but he’s not so sure she’s going to agree to help him. She was once his high school sweetheart, and when they met up again a few years later, he just happened to send her to prison for hacking!

Hayley Green knows she committed a crime and has now paid her dues for it. She’s barely out of prison when Cain shows up out of the blue. She knows he was just doing his job in arresting her as part of the cyber crime ring, but she’ll never forgive him for sleeping with her just to get information! She might be forced to help him with this case … because the money will most definitely come in handy … but she won’t voluntarily be sharing her secrets!

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was that girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.

He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.

There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”

Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.

Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

Kendall Ryan never disappoints! Picking up one of her books, you’re always guaranteed a super fun read. Steamy sex, feisty connections between the characters and laugh out loud moments. I loved this story!

She’s out celebrating turning thirty with her best friends when a sexy guy standing by the bar catches her eye. She’s had that one drink too many that makes her think she can get any man she wants … even though he’s totally out of her league! What do you know … he’s actually interested!

He’s a single dad, out for the night and takes the chance on having fun with the hot lady propositioning him at the bar. They’re in the middle of a lusty encounter when every parent’s worst nightmare happens … his toddler walks into his bedroom mid-act! Talk about mortified … he’s never seen a woman run out of his house so fast. He’s sure he’ll never see her again … oh but wait … come to find out, she’s the lady who wants to rent his garage apartment!

“I have a business proposition for you.”

Sealed with a million-dollar ring!

To win the most important deal of his life, Lazzero Di Fiore needs a fake fiancée. He strikes a pact with his gorgeous but guarded local barista Chiara: he’ll save her father from bankruptcy, if she agrees to wear his ring! But any convenience is consumed by their explosive attraction. Now Lazzero is determined to see his diamond on Chiara’s finger—for good!

Fast paced, flirty and delightful! With the next book in The Powerful Di Fiore Tycoons series, we get to watch Lazzero fall head over heals for the woman least likely to be by his side at a luxurious event. She’s tough as nails, but he can’t resist her sensitive side. He’s all business, but the man beneath the suit is irresistible! I really liked them together. Their relationship developed really quickly, but it was quite entertaining.

Lazzero Di Fiore will do just about anything to take the empire he has built with his brothers to the next level of success … even put a ring on a virtual stranger’s finger! He needs a make-believe fiancee and the woman who has been delighting him on a daily basis for months now seems like an ideal choice!

Barista Chiara Ferrante has a personal grudge against the entitled lifestyle of extremely wealthy people, so when Lazzero first approaches her with his request, she’s adamantly against it … until she finds out he will save her father’s bakery from financial ruin for just a few days of time. How can she refuse?

But doctors make the worst patients—especially when they’re as distractingly handsome as Hugo. When her past catches up with her, Nell must fake an engagement with the prince who makes her heart pound! Might she become his princess for real?

Doctor versus doctor! This story was fast paced and had sweet aspects. The friendship that developed between them was fun to watch and once they began to have romantic interest, it picked up a little bit. Overall, an enjoyable read.

Dr. Hugo DeLeon knows they say doctors make the worst patients, but he’s hoping to get out of being a patient at all because he doesn’t need to be watched by this doctor his father, the King, is insisting on hiring.

TO LEARN TO LOVE…HE WILL HAVE TO LET GO…

The illegitimate son of the wealthiest man in Cedar River, Jonah Rickard spent his life avoiding his father. Forced back home for a wedding, he’s brought face-to-face with the only woman to ever threaten his hardened heart. Connie Bedford knows what it is to be haunted by the past, betrayed by trust…scared by desire. Years ago, Jonah’s father saved her. Now only Connie and her love can save Jonah—and, maybe, his family…

Emotionally powerful! With the latest book in The Cedar River Cowboys series, we get the secret son Jonah’s story. I really enjoyed this book, but I feel like to get a real appreciation of the family dynamic behind his existence, it works better to have read the earlier books in the series. You can read it as a stand alone, I’m just not sure you’ll realize the hardship that’s been suffered by them all in doing so. It’s been a great series, and I enjoyed getting Jonah & Connie story. Very emotional and heartfelt!

Jonah Rickard has felt like J.D. O’Sullivan’s dirty litte secret for the thirty years that he’s kept him a secret from his family. Now that the truth has come out and the turmoil the revelation caused in his father’s family has started to calm down, Jonah finds himself stuck between his love for his mother and his anger at being put in this position to have to have contact with the father that he feels like rejected him.

Connie Bedford works for J.D. and one of Jonah’s half brothers, and feels a special allegiance to them because they saved her at a particularly rough time in her life. She really likes Jonah, and she can’t deny she’s super attracted to him, but how can she consider having anything to do with the man who is constantly bad-mouthing this family that she dearly loves?

EXCERPT:

“You think you know a lot about me, Mr. Garcia.”

“I think you and I both know you’re down here with him”—he nodded toward Comb-Over passed out on the floor—“because you’re afraid to be down here with me.”

He was wrong. I was down here for the damn file. But he was also right. I was also afraid to be here with him. Because the longer he looked at me with those fiery, lust-filled eyes, the more my mind wandered from the reason I was even in this mansion and zeroed straight on him.

“Hm?” Those lush lips curled on one side, tempting me to kiss that sexy smirk right from his face. “Admit it. I scare you because you already know how good it would be.”

He leaned close to my ear. “Imagine it. My lips on your skin. Kissing. Licking. Biting you gently until you shivered.”

My eyes drifted shut. And as his warm breath sizzled over my neck and down my spine, my fingers curled against his shirt, and I struggled to keep from melting against him.

“I’d start right here.” He brushed his lips against the soft skin behind my earlobe. Not a kiss. A caress of his lips. One I felt everywhere. “Then I’d move to your throat.” He lifted the hand at my hip and gently trailed his finger down the side of my neck to my collarbone. “I’d take my time. Over the hollow right here.” He very softly skimmed the indent between my neck and my shoulder. “And when I got to the strap of your dress…” He fingered the thin strip of fabric, tracing it all the way from the top of my shoulder down to the square neckline of my dress, so low his touch teased my breast and sent tingles straight to my nipples. “I’d tug it off with my teeth.”

My whole body trembled, and my hands slid to his shoulders. Before I could stop myself I lifted against him and rocked my hips against his—against that heavenly erection that was all but calling my name.

“Mm.” His lips skimmed my throat again. And he whispered, “I think you’d like that.”

I knew I’d like it. And I was pretty damn sure this man could make a woman bark like a dog and enjoy every moment of it.

ABOUT ELISABETH NAUGHTON:

Elisabeth Naughton is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. From Elisabeth: “I was never one of those people who knew they wanted to be an author at the age of six. I didn’t have imaginary friends. I didn’t write stories in my journal or entertain my relatives by firelight after Thanksgiving dinner. For the most part, I was just a normal, everyday kid. I liked to read, but I wasn’t exceptional at it. And when my teachers complimented me on my writing abilities, I brushed them off. I did, however, always have a penchant for the unique and absurd. And as my mother told me all throughout my childhood, I should have been an actress—I was a drama queen before my time.

“Years ago, my husband bought me Scarlett: The Sequel to Gone With The Wind. If you ever saw the book, you know it’s a long one. I sat and read that thing from cover to cover, and dreamed of one day being a writer. But I didn’t actually try my hand at writing until years later when I quit my teaching job to stay home with my kids. And my husband? After that week of reading where I neglected him and everything else until I finished Scarlett, he vowed never to buy me another book again. Little did he know I’d one day end up sitting at a keyboard all day drafting my own stories.

“My writing journey has not been easy. I didn’t just sit down one day, decide I was going to write a book and voila! sell my very first attempt. As most authors will probably agree, the path to publication is filled with hours of work, pulling all-nighters I thought I’d given up in college, sacrifices, rejections, but a love I discovered along the way I just can’t live without. Instead of a big, thick book to read by lamplight (I do read much smaller ones when I get the chance), I’ve traded in my reading obsession for a laptop. And I’ve never been happier.

“I’m one of the lucky ones. I have a wonderful family and fabulous husband who put up with my writing—and obsessive personality—even when life is chaotic. More than once my kids have been late to swimming or baseball because I needed just five more minutes to finish a scene. Their support and encouragement mean the world to me. I also have amazing friends and a support network I couldn’t survive without. So to all of you out there who have encouraged me along the way, sent me emails and fan letters, phone calls and congratulations, I just want to say, thank you. You make this whole writing gig that much more enjoyable. I truly wouldn’t be here without you.”

The broad-shouldered Adonis standing on Stephanie Bryant’s front porch cannot fathom why the sassy beauty failed to evacuate along with the other residents of Cocoa Beach, but she has her reasons.

With a big promotion at stake, the approaching storm doesn’t figure into Stephanie’s plans any more than falling for the hunkiest cop in Florida.

But more than the landscape changes when a hurricane practically blows Florida’s newest resident into the arms of disillusioned cop Brett Lincoln. While the last thing he wants in his life is another self-centered woman, the keys to his emotional survival just might dangle from Stephanie’s perfectly sculpted nails.

* This book was originally published in 2010.

A chance meeting, undeniable attraction and the start of a new relationship! With the next book in the Hometown Heroes Series, we get Brett’s story. He’s a become a bit bitter about his outlook on people since becoming a cop and seeing all the issues in the world, but a fresh perspective from Stephanie’s viewpoint has him rethinking his ways! This was a fun read … fast paced and entertaining.

When Stephanie Bryant transfers to Cocoa Beach, Florida as part of a big promotion, she has no clue she’s driving into town right in the middle of a big evacuation. Yes, the streets seemed fairly dead, but she’s from Ohio, what does she know about storms and evacuating?

Police officer Brett Lincoln can’t believe it when he sees her doing work around the house when everyone should already be out of the path of this storm. He figures out what’s going on with her and gets her on her way towards the only shelter left with any space and figures he’s done his good deed. When the town returns after the storm though, he just keeps running into her again and again … and he has to admit, he’s starting to like it!
