* Holiday Celebration * Let’s go caroling!

Who else is a sucker for Christmas music? I can listen to it over and over again this time of year and never get tired of it. I like the classics, the new twists that are always being released even on the classic songs, and some artists put out those original songs that just melt your heart with all the feels, am I right? So let’s share some of our favs!

Classic wise, you have to love Bing Crosby and White Christmas.

Newer renditions … here is a really great version of Silent Night by Kelly Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire.

And my personal weakness … tearjerker holiday songs like It Won’t Seem Like Christmas by Loretta Lynn.

What are some of your favorite holiday songs? Have an album you could listen to over and over? An artist you particularly like their version of a song by? Share!

Better luck next time!

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but … I didn’t win my millions last night.  *sigh*

The good news is … neither did anyone else! 🙂

I’ll have to try again on Saturday.  The Powerball jackpot was up to over $500 Million for last nights drawing … and they’re saying it’ll be over $600 Million by Saturday.  I don’t play normally, but when it gets into the hundreds of millions of dollars, I decide to roll the dice … just in case!

WELCOME 2016!

HappyNewYear

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!

I’ve vowed to blog more this year … not just Reviews, but life in general, like something that makes me laugh or something I want to vent about.  You know … all the good stuff! 😛

I feel like 2015 really got away from me.  I was sick in the Spring, then recovering from surgery through Summer and before I knew it, Fall was here and we all know that once those evenings start cooling down, Christmas is going to be here before we know it.  And boy was it!

Today as 2016 kicks off, I am happy to start fresh and look forward to enjoying everything life has to offer!  I hope you’ll have lots of happiness coming your way this year!

DAY 15

DAY 14

Day 14  –  100 Days of Happiness

Today’s happiness was watching and hearing the rain through the window. It’s been way too dry here in Maryland for the last couple of months or more, so the rain was much appreciated. Grass and trees have been turning brown way before it was time for them to be since fall hasn’t even hit yet. #100DaysofHappiness

Lazy days

Hi everyone! 🙂  Hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of August.  Yesterday was hubby’s birthday, so we spent the day doing whatever he wanted.  He chose to make it a lazy one this year.  We had breakfast at IHOP, then went to Barnes & Noble for awhile.  He’s big into cars, so he always love to go read the new car news.  I read the book I was in the middle of. 🙂  For dinner, he picked Red Lobster.  It was yummy!  Then off to Starbucks to relax and read some more.  I know, it actually sounds like he was picking a day of whatever I wanted to do with all of that reading right?  haha

It’s hard to believe that September is almost here.  We’ll soon be getting cooler days and leaves turning.  I do love Fall.  The only thing I dislike about this time of year is the ragweed kicking my butt allergy wise.

Have a wonderful Friday and a great last of August weekend!
