His twins might be wild...

But she knows just how to tame them—and their father

Earthquake expert Dax Calder brings his eleven-year-old twins to the Serengeti to fulfill a promise to his late wife—never leave the girls. Meeting free-spirited teacher Pippa Harper feels like serendipity. She’s the perfect nanny for his mischievous twosome, even if her definition of rules is slightly different than his. But there’s one rule Dax never expected to break…falling in love again.

Enchanting scenery, precocious children and a sweet love story! If you’ve been reading along with Rula Sinara’s From Kenya, With Love series, you will recognize the heroine of this story. Pippa Harper is the all grown up version of the child we met in Book 1, The Promise of Rain, a few years back. It’s always fun to see someone we’ve met previously come into their own and find their very own happily ever after. The story was intriguing with lots of emotional depth, as well as some humor mixed in with those trickster girls! Very enjoyable read!

The promise that Dax Calder made to his late wife to always be there for his twin daughters has him uprooting them often to go along on his work expeditions. This job in Kenya lets him not only earn the money he needs, but also be close to a historical area that intrigues his seismologist by trade heart. Circumstances might have forced him out of that field right now, but studying earthquakes is his hearts passion.

Teacher Pippa Harper happens to be in the right place at the right time to help Dax out of a fix. Seems his nanny has abandoned him, and he needs someone to entertain his daughters. If this unexpected job can earn her more money for the school she’s saving to build, she’s willing to help out … but she’s not so sure about these wild child girls of his … they seems to be out to run off everyone but their father!

In Nashville the men are strong, the women are bold, and love comes to those willing to fight for it.

Russ Green is an expert at keeping people out - physically and emotionally. After a career-ending injury, the former quarterback was lucky to find a place as a bouncer at Words and Music. All he wants to do now is stay out of the limelight - alone. With his background, he's nobody's Prince Charming. His life is routine, and he likes it that way. Gym, work, home. No surprises. Until a bar brawl lands him in the emergency room, and in some very capable hands...

Nurse Joslynn Wright found her calling during a childhood bout of leukemia. While the fast-paced ER keeps her adrenaline pumping, it's nothing compared to being with Russ. Her illness made her cautious, though, and Russ's closed-off nature certainly doesn't make things any easier. But she can't help being intrigued by the contradiction of a burly bouncer who can gently strum a guitar. If she's learned anything in Nashville, it's that love may take work, but the rewards can be well worth the effort...

Feisty attitude, kind souls and feel-good moments! With the third book in her Nashville Dreams series, Sandy James brings us the story of the tough guy of the bunch, Russ. We’ve enjoyed the stories of his partners Brad & Ethan previously, so we’re already familiar with their bar Words and Music. It’s fun to reconnect with the previous couples and see where they are now, and there’s just something about Brad that made him my favorite one of all! Really enjoyed this story!

Bad boy Russell Green just might have met his match! Russ has been living the good life. Pro football for awhile, now rubbing elbows with Nashville’s elite while flitting from one gorgeous woman to the next. He should be riding high, but lately it’s been noticeable to his friends and business partners that something is going on with him. He might be holding it close to his chest right now, but eventually he’s going to have to confide in someone!

Nurse Joslynn Wright isn’t expecting to fall for a guy coming through her ER, but Russ is kind of hard to resist when he smiles and looks at her with those eyes. She’s enjoying living the best life that she can now that she’s past the pain and drama of her childhood fight with leukemia. These days she’s living healthy and enjoying life for all it’s worth … and she sees a kindred spirit in Russ that could use some relaxation in his life!

Temporary … to forever? With a new book in her ever-popular Montgomery Brothers series, Samantha Chase brings us Megan’s story. It’s a fun read with sexy characters, fun family connections and lots of sass!

Workaholic Megan Montgomery isn’t known for throwing caution to the wind and just living all that often, but she managed to do just that a couple of years ago with the sexy groomsman at her cousins wedding. She’s been swamped with work ever since, but she hasn’t ever forgotten the things he made her feel … and it just so happens, she’s moving to his neck of the woods!

Physical therapist Alex Rebat adored his weekend with Megan and even tried to make a long-distance thing work between them for a short time afterwards, but he had to give up when it became obvious she just wasn’t that into him. He’s surprised to see her at her cousin’s house when he stops by … and even though he hasn’t found anyone quite like her in the last two years, he’s hesitant to trust her when she says she’s changed.

He doesn't do commitment. She's his dead friend's wife. They can never be more than friends.

Piper Stevens had already met—and lost—the love of her life. When she buried her husband, she buried her chance for a happily ever after…but also found a shoulder to lean on in Nate.

As a commitment-phobe womanizer, Nate Hall has never had a female as a friend, but he made a promise to his buddy before he passed. Take care of Piper.

And these days? He can’t imagine his life without her.

Now, a year later, things Piper thought were long gone are beginning to come back.
Like her previously healthy libido.

Except she can't picture dating someone in her husband's place, nor can she sleep with a stranger either.

So, she turns to Nate. After all, he's the perfect choice. He's her friend but also a player. He cares about her but they'll never fall in love…and she won’t get hurt. Not like she did when she lost her husband.

But can two friends give their bodies without involving their hearts and things turning nasty?

Emotion filled, laugh out loud funny and super steamy! I loved Piper and Nate’s story! The underlying plot is easy to fall into and follow throughout the book. The characters both have past heartache that has defined who they are today and they each are trying to work through some of their issues. They’re really adorable together as best friends, and as lovers, oh my, they heat up the place for sure! Really enjoyed their story!

When Piper Stevens lost her husband a year ago, she figured life as she knew it was over. They never got the chance to start that family they always dreamed of, so now it won’t happen. She became numb when her husband died and parts of her never came back to life. She’s going through the motions of her new life with the support of her good friend Nate by her side.

Nate Hall was her husband’s best friend, and he promised him he’d take care of her. He’s a major player who has never been friends with a member of the opposite sex before, but this past year has been eye opening for him and he now adores Piper and would do anything for her. When she comes asking him to be the one that reawakens her sexual journey though, that one he’s not so sure about! He wants her, he won’t deny that … but she’s a happily ever after type of woman. Can she really be happy settling for just sex?

Sexy: Luke & Elise’s First Night (Book #1.25)

Exclusive Excerpt:

Piper and Jordan had moved to the area in January the previous year, and when they had first moved, it had been all about getting situated. Jordan had settled into his new job while Piper had to search for her own. Then, before she had known it, it had been May, and she was a widow.

After that had come his funeral and sorting out all the paperwork after someone passed, all while trying to deal with grief. For a while, the only people Piper had seen outside of work were her mom and Nate. She had just wanted to be left alone. Socializing took too much energy.

But she’d slowly started coming back to life a few months ago, and that was when Nate had really started bringing his friends around. She knew he’d been afraid that she’d be lonely with no family in the area. She felt like she was almost back to normal. Well, her new normal because she was never going to be the same person she had been before Jordan passed away.

And, now, she was grateful that Nate had introduced her to Elise. The two of them got along great, and while Nate was her best friend, sometimes, a lady just needed some girl time. They still didn’t know each other that well, but Piper hoped that could change.

Nate and Luke burst through the front door, shirtless, sweaty, and laughing. They went straight to the food without a word to either of the women and dug in like they hadn’t eaten for a week. Neither of them bothered to sit either; both stood on the other side of the counter.

“I apologize for my husband’s table manners—or lack thereof,” Elise said.

Luke looked up from stuffing his face. “Wha—” he said around a mouthful of food, his brown eyes gleaming with humor.

“You’re a pig,” Elise said.

Nate nestled in the corner of the counter and laughed.

Luke swallowed and smiled. “But I’m your pig.”

Elise shook her head and rolled her eyes, but Piper saw she was hiding a smile.

“Apologies, Piper,” Luke said. “I’m hungry.”

Elise turned to Piper. “Do you care if I get a glass of water?”

Piper jumped from the stool, feeling like a terrible hostess. “Oh my God, I’m sorry.”

“No, you don’t have to get up,” Elise protested, also rising from her seat.

“Yes, I do. My mother would pass out from shame if I didn’t take care of my company.”

Elise sat back down and laughed. “I understand.”

She looked around to the two guys. “Water okay with you guys, too?” she asked as she walked around to Nate and Luke’s side.

“I can get my own, you know,” Nate said.

It was true. He wasn’t really a guest in her home anymore. He raided her fridge whenever he was hungry and helped himself to whatever he needed without asking anymore.

“That’s okay,” she said as she opened the cupboard and reached up for the glasses.

But Nate went for them at the same time she did. As he reached from behind her, she felt his naked chest against her back. A tingle went down her spine, straight to her belly, and she dropped her hands to the counter as she tried to fight a slight tremor.

Apparently, her libido hadn’t died with Jordan. It had just gone dormant. And she didn’t know what to do with it if it was coming back.

About R.L. Kenderson:

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name.

Renae has always loved reading, and in third grade, she wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then, she knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.

One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day, and together they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging.

You can find them at http://www.rlkenderson.com, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and Goodreads. Join their Facebook Reader Group. Or you can email them at rlkenderson@rlkenderson.com, or sign up for their newsletter here. They always love hearing from their readers.
