3 1/2 STARS!

Fairly slow to get into, but I did enjoy seeing them develop their relationship once they let their guard down some.

Billionaire Liev Dragunov has planned revenge on those responsible for ruining his father’s business for most of his life.  He grew up in a harsh way because of how things went down, and he wants someone to pay for that!

Bianca Di Sione has caught Liev’s attention and is the perfect path to his revenge, but she keeps turning down his overtures.  When he discovers a weakness in her facade, he swoops in and gets his hands on the thing she wants most … an old bracelet with special meaning to her grandfather.  Blackmailed into pretending to be his fiance, Bianca is bitter that he has the power to use her like this, but she lives up to her end of the bargain.

As they spend time together pretending to be a couple, real feelings start to show through … will Liev be able to avenge his family without bringing down Bianca’s?

Breathtaking surprises!  You think you have everything figured out, and then something new pops up and all that you thought was true is not how it seemed.  Many twists and turns will delight you as you forge your way through the mystery!

Event planner Jordie Bennett finds herself drawn into a whole mess of drama surrounding her brother and  his partner committing major fraud against their clients.  She finds herself a pawn between good and evil and her life hangs in the balance!

Shaw Kinnard and his partner are hired to kill Jordie, but before they can, plans get thrown awry.  Shaw decides to use her connection with her brother to try to get his hands on the money that was stolen instead of the peanuts he’s being offered to kill her.  Before long, Shaw is left wondering if she’s been in on the crime with her brother from the beginning!

A dramatic continuation to Sela and Beck’s story picks up right where Sugar Daddy left off!  With a huge cliffhanger at the end, we have the last in the trilogy Sugar Free to look forward to!

This book picks up with Beckett North thinking Sela Halstead has betrayed him and striking out towards her.  When all of her secrets are exposed, Sela lays her heart on the line in hopes that Beck will believe her and be willing to help her seek her revenge against JT.

Beck will do anything to rectify the wrongs done to Sela.  When he reveals a couple of secrets of his own, they put their heads together to figure out how to move forward.  To get the outcome they need, Beck is going to have to give the performance of his lifetime to keep JT convinced that he’s his loyal partner … until he can be rid of him for good!

Hot and steamy with a whole bunch of sweetness as Cathryn Fox’s Hands On series continues with Part 2 BODY CONTACT!

Pro footballer Jack Rider is enjoying the journey of two weeks that he promised inexperienced Danielle Long … more than he should be considering there’s an ending date already out there!  She’s sweet and sexy and so excited and willing to learn anything and everything that will please him … talk about sexy!

Danielle Lang couldn’t have picked a nicer or SEXIER guy to ask to teach her about all things sex … but the downside is, she could really fall for him!

Sexy, fun and hard to put down!  I enjoyed this follow up in the Naked Men series even more than the first one!  Can’t wait to see Logan come into the picture in Book 3!

Madison Abbott strikes out on her own to leave her home in Alaska and relocate to Washington, D.C. for several reasons … she’s wanting to meet the long lost brother she didn’t know she had, she has been given her dream library job, and she wants a better selection to work with in finding her future husband.  When she runs across Knox right off the bat, she’s not sure what to think!

Knox Davies is an all around ladies man.  He’s smart, successful and likes to enjoy it!  He likes fancy things, and isn’t about to limit himself to just one woman when there is such an array out there for the taking!

Instant attraction leads to a first date … genuine fondness for each other leads to more.  Madison winds up setting her mind on making Knox fall in love with her at the same time that he’s telling her he’s only in it for the short haul.  When he finds out that the brother she came looking for is his best friend Logan, he’s in an even bigger conundrum!

Another fun trek with the guys on the Portland Storm NHL team!  I always enjoy seeing these players and their friends and families interact, but I wasn’t drawn in to the romance nearly as much on this one as usual.  I think a bit of it was that they were slow to act on anything other than flirting, but another part was I was less intrigued with what was going to happen because the plot was something that we’re seeing play out in real life every day these days it seems.  I read to escape, so I don’t necessarily need to see it brought into a book.  It was written well though and brought through some good emotion … and who can’t love spending time with this team? 🙂

It’s all about the playoffs this year for the Portland Storm, and they are so close they can taste it!  Nate Golston has worked hard to improve his game and is enjoying the run more than he can say! When fans from an opposing team start stirring up ugliness and trouble, he fights hard to keep the hurt in his heart from screwing up his game play and making him lose his focus on ending this season right!

For a couple of years now, sports reporter Anne Dennison has had quite a flirtmance going with Nate.  They’ve never taken it further than the flirting, but now that she’s working on producing a behind-the-scenes web series on the Storm, they are spending a lot of time together!  If she acts on her feelings for him, it could cost her the job she’s fought through so much to earn … is it worth it?

A touching story about surviving the unexpected and learning to live again!  I really enjoyed the characters and the plot of this book … highly recommend you read it.  The only thing I wasn’t overly fond of was the going back and forth between the present and the past every other chapter or so for much of the book.

Annie Rush has it all! … or so it seems … a handsome husband, her dream job producing her own TV show in LA and her first baby on the way … and in the blink of an eye it’s gone.  She wakes up in a hospital setting, clueless as to what has happened or why she’s there, unable to talk or move the way she should be able to … and is told that she’s lost a year of her life.  As Annie starts a long road to recovering herself and her life, she learns that time isn’t all that she lost.

She cocoons herself with her family in Switchback, Vermont remembering her life there on the maple tree farm that generations before her had cultivated.  She reconnects with old friends, an old beau, and with the person she used to be and lost on the road to her success.  When she picks back up her passion for cooking and producing, she is faced with new opportunities and a new life on the horizon.  Will she choose to walk away from home again?
