In this 2nd book of her Love and Lipstick series, Kat Cantrell brings Alexandra Meer to life!  From the moment we first see her and Phillip together, we are drawn into their intense attraction, and go along for the ride as they stumble their way through issues from the past, and hopes for the future.  Great read!

Senator Phillip Edgeworth has high political dreams, but it means he can’t sit around and mourn his late wife forever.  He needs the perfect mate by his side, but he’s not willing to love anyone else, so it needs to be someone going into it with their eyes wide open about what he’s offering.

Alexandra Meer,CFO at Fyra Cosmetics, has been working side-by-side with Phillip to get some FDA approval that they need for a new product.  The attraction between them is red-hot and eventually they decide to give in to temptation!

Alex doesn’t believe in happily ever after, so when they find out she’s pregnant, Phillip doesn’t have that hard of a time convincing her to marry him in a marriage of convenience without a promise of love.  But the more time they spend together, the more she realizes she wants … will they be able to make this family work?

In this first book in her new Morning Glory series, Liz Talley introduces us to a group of lifelong friends who have come together for the funeral of one of their own.  In a box left for them as a group, they find a touching tribute that will send them each on a journey of walking outside their comfort zone and living life to it’s fullest.  I was hooked from the first page and couldn’t put it down.  I can’t wait to read the other stories!

Rosemary Reynolds is a true southern gal from Morning Glory, Mississippi where she runs a fabric shop. When opportunity knocks, she decides to be spontaneous and jaunt off to New York City to housesit for her cousin.  Her first day there, she gets turned around and winds up in Little Italy running into sexy Italian Sal Genovese.

Sal works at his family restaurant, and is feeling the pressure from his family to settle down with a good Italian girl and settle into the family grind.  He is drawn immediately to Rosemary and thinks she is just a breath of fresh air.  They know they are from different worlds, but they decide to enjoy ever minute they can with each other for the two weeks that she is there before heading back to real life.

In this kick off to the new Firefighters of Montana series, Tracy Solheim introduces us to the team of sexy smoke jumpers, and takes us into the world of the new captain of the squad, Sam Gaskill.  She delivers great characters with lots of sweetness & sass, along with some sexy heat.  Really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the rest!

Former Army Ranger Sam Gaskill is relocating to Glacier Creek, Montana to start a new job as the captain to a team of smoke-jumpers.  He’s glad to get away from Texas and it’s memories of his late wife.

Laurel Keenan couldn’t wait to leave Glacier Creek and explore the excitement the rest of the world had to hold, but a surprise pregnancy along with an ailing Mother brought her back home within a short time.

Sam and Laurel are drawn to each other the minute they set eyes on each other, but they both have their issues and try to steer clear.  He thinks he failed one woman already and doesn’t want to trust his heart to another.  She thinks she has to be secure and stable and can’t risk her son’s future to a risk-taking lifestyle.

I really enjoyed this new series from Marie Harte and I can’t wait to read the other guys stories!

A sweet story about close-knit small town life, the sadness of guilt and most importantly about how helping someone else in even the smallest way could be the world to that other person.

Sophie Mattuchi is a great nurse and loved by many, but when a patient in the ER blames her for not doing enough to save his friend one night, it makes her second guess herself.  She knows she does a good job, but could she have done more?  She’s never cared this much about what a man thought about her before, and she’s not so sure she likes it!

Jack Carter knows in his heart that he’s being unfair to Sophie, but it’s almost like he needs someone else to share in the guilt he feels from that night.  The more times he runs into Sophie, the more he likes her and can’t pretend like he doesn’t.  She’s such a kind, caring person and helps everyone she can.

When Sophie and Jack admit to the attraction they feel for each other, will they be able to have a future or will that niggling of blame he still feels towards her always rear it’s ugly head and ruin things?
